I believe you may have registered on the depreicated forum and not the website itself. The new dSoc registration page is where you need to register, and that should not require anyone to activate you.

I really don't have many detailed pictures of the fog lights and their mounting behind the bumper, but trust that the Mugen bumper does need special brackets that do not come with any OEM Honda fog light set.

Much appreciated. There's lots of nice cars in this topic, so you're in the right place.
As far as the dSoc stickers go, I would like to see those soon, however I'd like to have my hand in that a little bit when the time comes. Fact is that there's no reason anyone should donate their time or labor, and considering we're all in this together to benefit one-another, I am thinking about some kind of donation/premium membership idea. So the people that kick in a little coin or extra effort get something special for their contributions. There will probably be a more official registration process also, allowing for vehicle info and certification of membership with an official member id#, etc...
James, Jon, and myself will need to collaborate to discuss the direction and intention of dSoc soon, and we'll keep everyone posted of course...

haha, nah I stayed away initially since he asked for a mugen bumper so figure I let John, the worthy one, handle it

me neither and exactly what I was going to say
custom brackets need to be fabricated, which is precisely what I had to do (took about an afternoon into the night...which worked out cause as soon as it was dark I was done and could try them out )
but I might be able to take some today or tomorrow cause I plan on taking the bumper off anyways to change my battery mounting bracket from brushed aluminum one i have to the powdercoated black one I bought
also, I need to take pics of how I mounted my tow hook for someone else who asked so it will be like killing 3 birds with one stone
but until then...here's what I have atm (from the outside to see fitment....which is really good imo)
close up:
left the "jdm junkyard paint" on....EG2
and lastly...one more pic (with some help from chris/sarge )of how they look lit in the dark

sounds like some great ideas/plans you got there
like how a real organization/club would operate...
i've offered my help already and if anything, the least is my support
keep saying it, but interested to see what becomes of this/where this all is going in the near future....

Re: (songoku)
So I'm looking into buying some new tires and wanted/looking for some opinions if anyone has any...
Couple of notes
- Only looking to buy two new tires for now to see how i like them in the front and keeping two brand new yoko s.drives I already have in the back (which I like a lot right now in the front) until I upgrade all around to the same (i know this is a wierd method but what I have to do)
- I know some brands can be different in design and fitment but I come to the conclusion and get the impression 205/45/16 is the general ideal size for 16X7s
- Obviously looking to get performance from these tires. Something I can auto-x which is why azenis come to mind first, or the KDW2s, or potenzas. Considered drag radials even tho when i run at the track I have slicks, but nice to have them on the street if you know what I mean . Something that would be good for both would ideal...which says azenis again I believe
here's what I've been considering/trying to decide between (I know the list is not much "narrowed" down)
a. Falken Azenis 215/45/16 or 205/40/16 - $99-101
(Don't make 205/45/16 but heard 215/45/16 fits alright so I'm assuming they run small or something...my buddy settled for the 205/40s for his 16x7s and they look kinda too small )
b. Yokohama S.Drives - $94
(Already have two 205/45/16s on front so would just have the complete set all around brand new)
c. Yokohama Parada Spec 2 - $78
(same brand different model...cheaper)
d. Advan A048
(good for track but street or parking lot?)
e. Advan Neova
f. BF G-force Drag Radial NT
(tires I've always liked in the past...great "street racing" tires imo)
g. BF G-force KWD2 NT - $116
(BF not for drag and come on the mugen civic Si's )
h. Potenza RE01R/RE070
(saw the re070s on the new s2K CR and liked them...looked like the car had pretty good traction when i saw it run down the track even tho i know its rwd...heard the re01r is slightly better...also saw this set on an s2k)
i. Nitto NeoGen - $91
j. Nitto NT55 - $113
all prices/estimates from discounttire.com
anyone know of a better site to shop from?

Let me say that 205 /40 16 is the perfect size for the sol. 45 series is to large IMO.
215 40 16 would be nice if that size is availible.
