haha i hate going to parts stores, they dont know the difference between s,si,an vtec. so i just buy my parts (like axles) for an integra (to avoid getting d series). and they sit there and argue with me..

and idk about other autozones, but the one i go to. They can stock edelbrock IM for v8s but an air filter for a honda is "special order"

my first first run of the day where I spun out like crazy in first gear cause I launched off redline hard LOL (cause I didn't have launch control that run, nor the other ones for the rest of the day ALL day )

Been trying to find other vids of my car on youtube from other spectators, especially from NJ @ hondaday, but haven't had any luck
so this is the first one

Nyce1s was there at that same even (Import Summer $hootout that was supposed to replace NOPI which got cancelled/bankrupt that actually my dad helped put on and sponsor)
But didn't get my run even though I was waiting for him to come out with the video forever

You'll see my car behind the car about to run but don't see my car run right after (@ 5:42 to save some time)
The same hatch in the video above is racing a cavellier and broke and axle (1st round of eliminations, last video was qualifying)

Oh and I know the owner of the hatch, Jeff, he's pretty cool and talk to him a lot, @ NED and @ e-town when we both went down there for Hondaday (after he went to the street races in NY and asked me to go LOL)
Supposedly a 11sec hatch that he bought (sold his MX-3)and trying to get it back into the 11s
He's from RI and the swap on his buddies K20A(r) ITR

my first time breaking into the 12s this year on this set up (barely) that I got later on that day the run after the shitty launch with the hatch, the run you would've seen in the nyce1s video if he showed it instead of skipping it

what I hate even more than that is potential buyers only PMing you rather than bumping your thread with what they want to know about. Seriously since putting up my 2 FS threads I've recieved PMs from over 60 DIFFERENT people now, yet only 14 people (about 9 of which were free bumps not interested in anything, just bumping to be nice) have bumped either thread

From what I've heard, they don't have colder or hotter plugs, you have to go to like a shop to get those...

 

nah, we can get colder plugs, you just either gotta know the #, or we gotta look it up in the plug manufactuers book.. you cant just come in and expect people to know the # of a colder spark plug from stock in most cases its not as easy as ngk's (which i hope you people use ) such as the plugs i have now are 1 step colder (bkr7es-11) where the 7 is the heat range, and you either go up a # for colder, and down a # for hotter (believe thats the way ngk's are rated) alot of plugs when it tells us the # (something like a #7315) thats all it shows, so theres not really any other way of knowing, othe then like i said, looking in the manufactuers book, finding the plug, and moving one step colder.. maybe the one you go to is full of idiots though but its a huge pain in the *** when people come in without a clue as to a part # or somehting that they want

thats the main thing everyone i work with hates about people that come in, is when the [freak]ers dont know what they want, and expect you to know

though its very rare to have someone come in and know exactly wha they need
