So I just picked up a BNIB Civic SiR lip from a local guy for $40, would anyone car to PM me how they attached it to their JDM front bumper? It looks like the fit will be tight, but if need be I can get ahold of a heat gun

not a fan of kevlar but the paint makes it work. looks better then carbon fiber would still by far one of my favorate sol's

******?!??!! Somebody stop me on top of selling the wheels I'm now thinking about trading the sol....for an SOHC (d16z6 with full OBD 1 converion) turbo EF with quite a few other notable mods.

just doing preliminary talks, it's looking like I'd keep:
trunk, wing & top(which would be for sale here or I'd just keep them and make my mom get a sol LOL) as well as the seats and steering wheel at least(which would be going in the EF) and it'd be a straight trade

I'm sorry but I LOLd....I find it funny when people think anything longer than 10-15 minutes is " " to drive....I've been as far south as san diego, as far north as sacramento and as far east as vegas just to get parts I want....and I live about an hour north of L.A.

 

y dont u just sell your sol for money and buy the car you want. seems like u dont know what you want.

yeah an hours no biggie for me. just wish it was a little closer. my longest drive was 2 hours for some LS brakes for cheap. then like an hour and a half for my sol.

 

it's true I don't really know what I want, but why go through the hassle of trying to sell it and dealing with lowballers ("what can I get for 3K" still is one of the funniest things I've ever been asked) or the hassle of parting it out if I can just trade it and experience something different that might make me happier, and when I get bored with that repeat the process

I'm into cars for all the different things they can offer driving wise.... not to just pick a car mod the **** out of it and stay with it forever, I don't think there's any car I can be happy with "forever" and I have been bored with the sol for awhile despit having plans to upgrade it further....monotany leads to boredom IMO

I'm gonna sell both my cars and get something else but I can't decide on what to get lol


So I got into indianapolis 30 mins ago and we are behind an EF with a cowbell hanging from the rear towhook and a huge cb/hamm radio antenna lol

Why spend all the money to mod a car and not drive it?
