Replaced with brand new one this weekend and no go. Tranny is in PERFECT condition. I'm thinking T.O. bearing.

I bled it like 100x to make sure haha.

I replaced the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder. I'm almost positive it's the throughout bearing. I'll find out soon

cody all I can say is, thanks for posting that video....makes me glad I didn't waste my time with the greddy kit when I still had the b16a in my hatch....with just bolt ons (NO CAMS/HEADWORK, ETC) I made 160whp and 110ft/lbs (only 10 less whp and 1 ft/lb less than you). Personally I'd be pissed as hell with those results

you also gotta keep in mind, 5psi, small exhaust, and slipping clutch.. my buddys em1 made like 280 i think on 10psi on a greddy kit.. its got potential.. but those #'s are pretty weak

very true....I realize he has those issues and bought it used....my point was trying to compare a new, unmodified greddy kit(like I was VERY close to getting when I still had the hatch) vs. that same amount spent on NA parts....NA would definitely yield more WHP and TQ for sure. the clutch slippage cant be that bad(don't really even notice it in the video) and the 60mm exhaust is better than what greddy designed the kit with as far as exhaust......when parts go to CARB to get certified by the manufacturer that is the only modification on the car performance wise.

but like you said with very little $$$ after the initial kit cost you can have a real monster

holy crap, seriously?

hella discouraging

though, when i drove to the dyno, the very first baseline after we strapped the car to the rollers was like 225whp at 7psi, the tuner hadn't even plugged in his laptop yet

Default F%$^&N bushings

So. i got back at the sol today even tho it rained like a s.o.b. I bought metal sleeves for the rear strut bolts, and im attempting to make my own polyurethane mounts. but i dont know if its going to come out. so I may just get the stock control arm bushings for 40 bucks. says NEEDS to be pressed... could i use a vice ? so far this was supposed to be a 1 day project and is looking it will be at least a 3-4 figuring out what i need to do with this stupid eg rear suspension bolts breakin'
