I like red with just about any color rim, personally.

By the way - I was totally thinking about what I was going to do with my 93/95 bumper sitting in my closet...

I think I might shave the aux holes. I mean hell, they've never worked anyway, and I've always wanted the dolphin front..

Could I even do that?

Because I paid 50 dollars for my front.

That looks excellent! I am definitely going to do that.

you've been and still are running open down pipe up until now
At least the down pipe is bolted up and have a dump tube so you're not melting anything
I guess its not that big of a deal since my buddy has been running open DP in his turbo b16 del sol for months now (he had an electronic cutout but broke it playing with it too much and now waiting for it to be fixed)

you should come up to NED this fri night or sat morning/afternoon
If all goes well hopefully I'll be racing
you should race yours as well to see what it does

I saw a couple of your buddies I assume are local to you up there last time...

That would be me, $3 each PM for more info.

You do have to be a dSoc member to get one though.

Slow day today.

X2

I posted last night before I went to sleep and usually wake up expecting something
but i was still the last post (well until you posted a few minutes ago)

well going on the dyno for the bajillionth time this time
but seriously its like the 4th time already this year and each one with no results and problems everytime
hopefully i can finally get a good run or if there still is something wrong, figure out and fix it today

was supposed to go on yesterday but we had to tune 7 other cars
but one of them was my buddy and got 300whp with 220ft-lb tq from his boosted b16 (probably could make more once he swaps the gsr cams back for jdm b16s he originally had)
he finally fixed his problem with his del sol (injectors) and made power so i'm hoping that means the same for me today

Default Re: (mugen-k)

I had to do some repairs on the Mugen side steps last week.

The rivets that hold the brackets on to the FPR broke on the rears of both sides, so I had to goto Home Depot and buy a little rivet gun and some 4mm rivets. After further review, either the side step bracket is misaligned, or the body on my car has a misaligned hole at the rear, because the passenger side white plastic clip won't snap in completely, putting weird stress on the bracket which broke the rivets.

Also, honestly the rivets used were really crappy, so it wouldn't surprise me if more of them break later on. I almost thought about pounding them all out and redoing them, but I opted for the repair rather than the restore.

Otherwise I clay-barred the car last week also, and started polishing it this week. The paint sure is shiny now, but man does it bring out all of the little scratches and rock chips and door dings, of which I do have many unfortunately.

Also, I'm in the market for a Cypress passenger door if anyone has any leads. Mine has been deeply dented since the day I purchased the car, and I finally have a small amount of extra cash to invest. I don't want to repair it because I would rather not have a door full of putty and filler.

Anyhow, that's my little update. Someone buy my MR5's.

Hate you all

Yeah, I ordered those bushings from majestic this week. Mine are shot as well. Also I bought new upper arms, lower ball joints, end links, inner tie rods, and outer tie rods. GF is out of town this weekend so I'll be making sweet love to the car all weekend
