does anyone have a set of rear control arms with mounts for a swaybar, im trying to do the ITR rear bar and want to stay OEM

 

For the time you'll need to take to find them + the cost of buying them once you do find them you could've had a set of nice LCAs by omni, skunk or function well before then. just go aftermarket, better looks lighter weight and replaceable polyurethane bushings

I would just try ebay or troll the sol forums looking for someone parting out a VTEC from a wreck

 

i ve been scoping for some, but if you guys can keep an eye out that would be nice

I know for a fact the emblem isn't real because that came with my fake wing. he said it mounts just like the real one so if it is a gen. 1 replica how can you really tell? just curious.....let's not start ANOTHER bitch fest (you know who I'm talking to)

i usually lurk in here cause im a fan of del sol's, but this is going to far......

from the moldings, to the yellow fog lights, to the Si lip, to the rear panel setup, and a fake Mugen wing to finish it off.. you have no kind of imagination, do you?

yes, gen.1 were the ones made several years ago that supposedly are identical to the real ones as fare as mounting. the 2nd gen. ones like I have are through bolted into the trunk.

i can tell by the thickness and shape of the wing..not to mention fitment..look at the center post, theres a gap..real Mugen wings have NO gap, sit super flush..plus his sags in the middle rather than being straight across..also, the end of the driver side is higher and has a different shape than the passenger side..

there are some replicas that are/were made to mount just like the real thing(with the side clamps)

im not trying to start anything, but i just want him to KNOW that he has a fake wing rather than saying its real, or hes not sure

I don't really give a **** fake real, and it's a dark silver Jimmy styled thing. Looks good to me. Clean

My thing is I don't think the rims are the best look for it. maybe different color or style.

It is definitely clean, but not near as low or like many have said, "well assembled". Lovin' the color though.

all this talk of fake wings kinda got me nervous

trying to compare

totally flat, "sharp" thin corners, great fit

 

looks like his car was hit in the drivers front, judging by panel fitment and the way the wheel is kicked out as much as it is

i copy jimmy rear too! just need some bumper moldings jk dont want them hey but jimmy copied my lip, so were EVEN! hah jk jk

 

You guys are being ridiculous. Anybody can buy the parts, it's not like there's only one del sol with fogs, fillers, and a mugen style wing. I think the gunmetal car looks nice. A rubber hood seal would help that fitment a lot.

 

anyone know what fog lights can be used for the dolphin front end?

As for people mentioning copying or whatever between cars, I can really only say to get the [freak] over yourselves. It's a del Sol, not a whole lot can be done with it unless you wanna go ricey. Sure, some people get parts and do a lot of work to find what to buy and to them I give the props, but in the end does it really matter if someone's car looks like another?
