congrats for finally being back home with the sol
was seeing your del sol like the first thing you did
like it was for me LOL
</TD></TR></TABLE>

well i came home, ate some pizza, went upstairs to look at the parts that had come in since i had been home last, went out to the garage hooked up the battery (which automatically sets off the alarm, waking up everyone in the house lol), unlugged the dizzy, gave it a few cranks, plugged the dizzy back in and she started right up. Swept out the garage pulled the car into the middle and put it up on jack stands and pulled the wheels off.

Thats as far as i got; i cant be using the air compressor while everyone else is asleep just because im an insomniac. Tomorrow morning the rear suspension comes off for some new stuff, then il probably work on the lip, then the sub, and by then il wanna drive it into town pretty bad.

on that note, how is everyone securing thier lips? Just self tapping screws or with bolts/washers?

*edit: p.s. its been so long it was a rush just pulling the car out and back into the garage

you've tried it under del sol seats? because there certainly isn't 3" to spare under a del sol seat. i'm quite sure that it wouldn't work

now we talking business..just go all out the first time,so u dont have to do it twice like me! LOL.

the good news is i all ready got my valvetrain and everything..might as well have ran a REAL cam from the get go.

i might even go with ctr pistons,so I can just feel better about running a oem headgasket..I love oem parts anywhere Im able to retain em LOL..but I gotta see how safe taht is with that cam.

not to say the buddy club is a bad cam..just not what I wanted..

my friends b20v hatch spanked an sti from a dig today
guy didnt realize we had 22x8 slicks up front on some oem honda wheels

yeaaa, well one thing i could have spent some extra money on to make my motor basically bullit proof would be some "real/forged" pistons, and sleeves, but vitaras are proven and muchhhhh cheaper.. i'll be satisfied with 350whp out of a daily

sasha you see about my race against a srt4 stock turbo on like 20ish + psi, and some other ****? **** was dead even

yeah I saw that shiz! madness!

I swear,if i did it all over again..id be sohc turbo right now too, cause of ur car.

and honestly, this whole week i was thinking about just not doing anythign to the car..saving and parting everything out and buying an ap2 next winter (when new models come out/convertibles arent that desirable) but after cruising in that hatch today..I just got motivated again..it made me realize how much I cant take to drive a stock car..but yet..I cant afford to mod an s2k either! LOL.

Aye, I hope the vitaras are all they are cracked up to be.

So far my build:
Eagle Rods
ARP Studs
75.5 Vitaras
ACL race bearings
Zex comp cam 59300
Zex titainium retainers
Zex springs

As well as all new seals, gaskets, OEM tbelt and water pump.

The head is off at the shop getting shaved and a nice valvue job

Looking at upgrading my intake mani, or just doing a nice port + polish on stock one and slap a GSR throttle body on it.

And I'll be running a Garret t3/t4 .57 trim with a ram horn mani
