i would love 2 own a captiva blue soL, with all black int, like juans car but with red s2k seats.

 

Heres my buddies car at Performance World this past weekend, this was my inspiration to get into the scene, it has come along way!

 

what do u guys think would look better on a soL, blades(which are whats on mine right now) or would u guys put a set of teg LS webs(98-01)? i personally am thinkn the webs would look good.

dsoc.co.uk is the Rota equivelant of us.

I am back up and running after 8 days without my sol. (DD)

Thanks Will for the help, It turns out it was coil. I replaced Coil ($75) Ignitor($105) and cap and rotor ($35) before I got it running.

yea, i think I did the best I could with the antenna

drove around for 2 days going fast and hitting some bumps and its still on their LOL
(along with my fillers....luckily...)
so i guess its as secure as its gonna get for now and its stayed on so far
still running ideas through my mind and thinking of how to improve/make it better

as far as reception
i'd say its great
nearly crystal clear IMO (major stations no static, but thats all i listened/tested)
while driving in good areas at least,
probably won't pass the bat cave test though....
but neither would a 20ft antenna LOL
but haven't listened to radio in a looonnng time so anything would sound great to me

Basically, I was satisfied with the over all project/DIY
dying to figure it out and give it a shot myself
happy with performance,looks,cost of materials,ease of installation,secureness

and sort of surprised and proud as well
(i get the diagnostics from my dad )
and that you finally got it up and running and your DD del sol back
even if it did cost you a bundle

Figured it must be the distributor since you went through pretty much everything else LOL
its always got to be the last (and most expensive) thing


and in my mind
gsr wheel = twisties
ls wheels = meshies
don't know if i'll ever get used to blades ore webs...
oh and same with with distributors being called "dizzys" LOL
took me a while on that and was like "WTF" first time I read the new slang
