Isn't a flare a flare?
Didn't know there were "fake" flares
I'm sure you could mount it wherever you want

I'm bummed about some parts I ordered on the 7th
I ordered at like 10pm so it didn't go thru til the 10th... and it will be 1-10 days for tracking
So hopefully they have it all in stock, the guy said some of the parts were on short supply 2 days before I ordered

thanks man! i might let ya take it for a (fully supervised) spin when we get back

wray pleaaaaaaase dont paint your car!!!! it just wouldnt be the same if it werent pgbp!!!!

will, i would fly you out to do some tucking...but i know its not gonna get a whole lot cleaner seeing as i still have abs/ps/ac/cc.... so i think im gonna leave everything in its factory holder in all the stock locations... that way if something goes wrong, it should be pretty easy to diagnose... plus... im such a hands on diy guy, i dont think i could let anyone else do it all

and i never had really great luck with the magnetic drain bolts..... seeing as all the really bad things aren't magnetic (bearings, bits of pistons, etc.)... and there is already a giant magnet in the tranny haha

and the long one IS for the tranny.... short is for the oil pan... i still run them haha

agreed
and very true

i'm in dire need of a respray though IMO
been 2+ years and its been through a lot since then

but if i won't get it repainted the way it is now
would want to get new side skirts first
or at least modify the ones i have somehow...
and do something about my hood

wire tuck i did this weekend (bigger pics cause i thought it was worth it )
k24-T DC2, now with a less cluttered bay

shot of the whole car:

for barry
cf optional sides and rear splats:

to keep it sol related:

btw
i got to drive the car as well

omg, i miss boost
it was no joke with the k24 either...
makes me just want to do a top mount on mine

and that big turbo is kind of laggy
but when it kicks in with vtec
2nd gear spun all the way to redline...

i must admit, besides the power, I liked driving the teg
something about the way it drives/handles
it had the small jdm ITR non srs steering wheel
which felt great except when turning at slow speed since it doesn't have P/S
i thought the del sol was bad without P/S but nothing compared to this LOL

Wow, that motor setup is nuts
The exterior is dissapointing
Unpainted grill and the cf sides and rears leave something to be desired

I was wondering what the lip kit would look like unpainted.... I'm getting that **** painted ASAP

If I could nab an extra 98-01 rear I would chop it like your rear Will
Or actually like this one

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2165950
Well and I would need a killer motor and exhaust too

yea Cory's car is so sick
love that mugen'd PY ITR!
fast too since he actually races it

funny thing is he first pm'd me when he saw my swap and asked me some questions about K
then he asked for more pics and showed him the rear
and he said how much he really liked my modified bumper
said it was "agressive"

Yeah your rear bumper might be the only aftermarket one for a sol I have liked
I've never had the ***** to hack anything up before
If I could find one for the teg that didn't look too bad I might be inclined to buy it

is that unusual? my car hardly makes any power, and even with warm azenis, it still spins all the way through 2nd gear with ease. with cold tires, 3rd gear spins too

when i had the boost control settings messed up and was running 20+ psi, it spun most of the way through 4th too
