MORNING *****!

I"M back in so cal and even though it's before the but crack of dawn and I haven't slept since this time yesterday it feels GREAT to be home.

After I wake up from my nap(probably going to just lose all energy in like an hour or so) I'll clean up the new part, and snap some pics

sucks though, does have 1 very noticeable scratch(and another I KNOW will buff right out)....for the bad scratch I think I might try some windshield repair kit or something just to fill it in and hopefully make it look a lil better.

so things on my "**** 2 do list" before eibach:
-get sound system working again
-Redo shaving on wing and foam fill it
-get wing painted
-look for new wheels (thinking some variation of 15" RNRs, 14" MR5s(only because I can get them VERY cheap and with all caps) or maybe some 15-16" volks)
-redo tint(want tint on front and tint on rear is flaking off )

maybe some other **** I'm forgetting. with one guy hounding me on the JDM headlights I think I may go ahead and sell them and make some HID retrofitted ebay 1 pc. ....but that's only a maybe at this point in time

Hey Jon, what'd you think of thunderhill when you went?

My boss liked it overall but said he wishes there weren't those blind turns....specifically #5 at the top of the hill

edit:

he thinks the track would've been much funner if turns 1, 5 and one other one(forget which) were banked about 10-15*

ok if you are doing an engine swap, and u have a non-vtec motor like the y7, and u want to put in say an h22 or something like that, something with vtec, would u have to use the h22 wire harness? could u use your stock harness like my y7 harness? how would u wire vtec?

1) All del Sols are wired for VTEC regardless if they had it or not.

2) Yes you'll need the H22 harness if you do the swap.

Really even the S models under dash harness is VTEC??? so as long as u have a VTEC engine harness you will be good?

is that unusual? my car hardly makes any power, and even with warm azenis, it still spins all the way through 2nd gear with ease. with cold tires, 3rd gear spins too

when i had the boost control settings messed up and was running 20+ psi, it spun most of the way through 4th too </TD></TR></TABLE>
no..not unusual at all
my car did the exact same thing (on 17s but still...)

it was more of the fact the how violently it kicked in
i really didn't think much of the car at first when i got it on it lightly
then i really stepped on it and opened it up
it really shot me back in my seat and went from vtec to redline instantaneous

i think its running like 15psi making like ~350whp on a stock k24

oh and they were 16 azenis too
i liked how they handled
i want to get myself a pair of 16s with azenis too
i also need to drop my car another .5-1"

p.s. my dad got rid of his greddy profecB types boost controller (used to be my old one and loved the thing...)
swears he's finally gonna use boost by gear this year
maybe you'll be running it too by then

Thats what I remember but someone will need to verify that before I'm quoted on that. I should have made that clear in my previous post.

the hell with that.... t5 makes that track. thats an awesome turn. turn 3 is the one that is bullshit. i hate that turn. t3 and t6 is kinda lame too.

if t1 were banked, it would be way too dangerous. as it is, that turn can be taken at 90-100. if it were banked, you could have SPO guys doing it at 140-150 (if you can find a driver that ballsy). t1 is fine; as it is, i can't take it at much more than 8/10.
