i was at work or i could have told vy you can keep a/c and power steering with a K swap. I was so close to get a K swap before we moved to INdy.

me too, it'll be nice to drive it again in this nice weather. It's not just getting a b16

sadly though, the del sol will be retiring to daily driver status after january. It won't see another track day after december.... unless I can convince my girlfriend to drive!

I love it. Of course all the pics you have seen of my sol were shot with that camera.

I would upgrade the lens if I had more money but what it comes with is very versital.

Get a Trypod if you want to try shooting in low light/night time.

Ok and since I missed the greater part of the discussion I have to add that we're all hanging on technicalities. Now if we can argue and babble for pages and pages in the past about Corvettes, selling out, and Fits for crying out loud - we can most definitely argue about the concept CRX.

Btw... CRZ is the concept name. This is not a new Insight.

IF there is a new CRX it will be the 4th gen - the del Sols long awaited little brother. And IF there is a new CRX it MAY bring about the next generation of a CRX "del Sol".

It also concerns us because it gives us a glimpse of new (if any) swappable parts.

Furthermore I do not have a confirmation written in stone about it having a K swap, but all reason does lead to that. Will the US probably get the economy version first? Yes I think so...

BUT if one were to look at recent line up changes in model line ups for the US market - we see that the demand for high end civics in both Coupe and Sedan were catered to. Hence the "Si" - and hence the JDM Type R which the JDM market had no plans to release.

If you add the recent lawsuits filed against Toyota for it's Hybrid lineup, and Honda's retraction of the Accord Hybrid in North America - you can tell that they're listening very carefully to what it's customers want. Another example is the displacement increase of the S2000 in the US market for more torque.

So in conclusion... HONDA if you're listening you money hungry bastards, bring back the del Sol - and while you're at it - make some more Mugen for the existing model as well.

you said slipped timing belt, i was hoping for the best... i have seen even vtec motors survive shredded belts just fine. Yours on the other hand...

not too many survive 100+mph @ 7500 rpm though
