And we know from the past that Honda does not usually bring all the higher horsepower engines over to the US for use in such chassis. since most of the members on this forum are in the US, I generally speak for the US market, not so much for overseas markets. And that is one of my points too; just because one market gets a certain engine choice or trim does not mean other markets will have a comparable trim.

Looking at the competition in the US, if Honda were to import a K-series CR-Z (as it's called in the images), they would be the first to offer such a vehicle in their current lineup in the US. There's just not a whole lot of small cars that are comparable in the US anymore. There's the Chevy Aveo, Chevy Cobalt, Honda Fit, Nissan Versa, Scion tC, Scion xA, Scion xB, Scion xD, Suzuki Aerio and the Toyota Yaris. Europe has a lot more as far as selection in this size range.

Yep. That being one huge reason why it's unlikely the US will get all the cool stuff. Some car maker has to take a gamble and bring one over and then it has to sell well enough for other makers to follow.
