both cars have different trannies.. auto being a 4speed and manual being a 5speed... thats why the rpm are a little off...
maybe someone else could chime in.. but if i remember correctly on my LS motor.. 80mph was just under 4k so that sounds about right..

A little update on my new sedan: Yesterday i decided to pull off the tails off the old sedan and clean them out again. Didn't do a great job sealing them up last time. So here's a couple pics after i finished them up.

Looks good man, but you really shoul consider snapping some new pics!

BTW, this new sedan is turning out to be a serious PITA!!!! Just as i fix one problem, another pops up. I still havent had a chance to really drive the car yet. Its just been sitting in the garage! But since its been inside, i've had a chance to put on a few things. The old busted-*** hood is now serving as a place to lay while working on the gas tank. I also got the taillights on, my other stock hood put on, as well as several missing or screwed up wires and hoses in the bay. Next up is fixing the blown coolant hose i just noticed this afternoon, passenger side axel, finish up the tank, and to put the volks back on and snap some pics!!!

Man dude u got almost the exact same DB1 as I got, is yours a 90 or 91? but yeah ur the first guy ive seen that almost has the exact same DB1 as I do. They are preety rare especially in our color.
