THE DB1 THREAD !!!!!!! 90-93 INTEGRA PLEASE
found a set of jdm thin side mouldings, could possibly be for sale, bought a fresh set of 1pieces, put the new shiftlinkages and bushings in, drove the car for the first time in 2 years last night. feelin gooood, off to the dyno in the next couple weeks. shooting for 220 on current cams.
Alright guys i havent posted in here in a LONG time! I've been busy with work and getting the sedan running again. I've come down to 2 issues right now.
1st:
I finally got the new tranny in the car and all put back together and went to put the axle through the hub and realized when i did, it pulled the axle boot into the trans loose. I've been told by the other techs at work that my problem the entire time may have just been a short axle. Being too short it puts stress on the snap ring and finally gives out popping the axle out of the trans. Anyone ever have any issues with this?? Or know if there are any differences in axles of a 90-91 trans and a 92-93? I keep being told that all 90-93 axles are the same. HELP ME OUT!!!! Here's a pic of what the boot looks like with everything all tightened up and car on the ground and one of the driver axle.

And the 2nd issue:
Should i trade my TE37's for these Volk Group A EvoII's???

i have the exact same problem, my driver went out so i replaced it. twenty minutes later
the axle snapped in two. i think my axle was to short too but doesnt slip out like yours the axle just falls apart.

See mine is the passenger side that goes into the tranny. I know i screwed up by getting a parts store axle but thats all i had access to when i needed to throw one in. But i got a new replacement one sent to me by the store today. Hopefully i can get it swapped out and driving today! It will be the first time i've drove the car in almost a year!!!
Well i got my issue with the axle fixed. The axle i bought was actually made TOO SHORT!!!! Its all good cause it had a lifetime warranty so i threw the new one in and drove the car home! Been driving it for a week now and cant believe how much i missed this thing!!!!
On another note, i'm gonna need the steering rack rebuilt or buy a new one ase its going out. And the car should be getting the rest of the body work completed soon and ready for paint!!!

To each his own, if you like it then more power to you. PERSONALLY, i think if you took it off and rocked the stock lip, or the first gen lip, and took off the pin striping, it would look better, but thats just my opinion
