does any one know how to wire up power windows/locks. i have all of the parts i need from my old 90 db1 an i want to drop it into my 93 i just dont know where to start" would the computer have to be changed? I NEED HELP ASAP!!!!

sold my piece of **** ef sedan about a month ago and picked up my first db1. i love the car.
not much to say about it. only mods are cosmetic. engine is completely stock, just performed some regular maintenance. im saving up to do some major work, but at the moment im low on funds. just wanted to contribute to the thread!

alright so lets see if anyone has had this problem.

my battery keeps drainning out. i have replaced my battery and i know my alternator is still good because my car stays on even though the battery is dead. i replaced my alternator belt and i've check all my fuses.

a friend of mine with a db1 is also having the same problem. He also took his alternator to get tested and they said it perfectly working. he also replaced his battery with a red top optimal. same problem.

at one point while driving my radio and clock went out and in my friends car his headlight and radio went out.

it would go out for a bIt then come back on then go out again and so on.

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!

 

hmmmm crazy problem...my crx used to do that... it was just my termanal connections for the battery... and a fuse goin bad... sounds like you have a grounding problem somewhere

nope never done that conversion before.... check on the integra forum for 90-93 integras..im sure someones done it before

 

same thing happened to me about a week ago. took it to one shop and they told me the alternator was fine and to get a new battery. took it to autozone and they told me i had a bad alternator. in the end i bought a new alternator and my car is fine now.

 

if the battery is dead the alternator keeps the car alive. but if the battery and alternator are bad the car wont stay on.

 

my car stayed on with a dead battery as well when i first tested it. it sounds a lot like what happened to me.

...how fast does the carbon fiber trunk open? im assuming it shoots up pretty fast.

test show exactly 47.3 mph. but that was done with a 2 year old speed gun.

 

...carbon fiber trunks are super light that when u release the latch...it swings open hella hard!!!

i ripped all the leather off around the outside it was too slippery so ive opted to cover in suede with red stitching

 

what i've been working on for the past couple of days...all i need now is wet sanding
