hmmm kinda looks like the same as the ssr size...would you say that the size between the 16s and 17s dont look much bigger? i'm asking because I could get a set of 17 inch 1st gen racing hart c5 but they look so big

i wouldnt do the C5's, IMO, they look weird on DA's..Too new looking of a wheel.

I've had several sets of 17s on my DB and i've pretty muched loved every set. Here's a pic with the 17" TE's before the resto.
And now on to the bad news.......
I've had the misfortune of being involved in 2 accidents in the past month! First was a hit and run at Wal-Mart. Someone hit the front bumper hard enough it broke the bumper light mount and peg slots, put a gouge and crack in the front bumper, and broke the mounts on the lip somehow. If that wasnt bad enough, i got off work saturday night and made it all the way within a block from being home and a mexican kid and his bitchy-*** chica SIDE-SWIPE ME IN A TURNING LANE!!!! Long story short... Passenger side doors are toast! Its not near as bad as i imagined it would be, but he definately took the blunt of the blow. They fought with me the whole time up until the cop got there. So i'm going to pick up a copy of the police report today. So much for having my car looking decent for the upcoming IA fall meet.
Here's a quick pic i snapped after the wreck. Picture makes it look better than it really is tho. I've had worse but its bad enough damnit!

What set of springs put you at a nice ride height on the DB1. I want it to be right at the point of tuckage lol, but Im not trying to spend alot of dough since its my DD....

if u mean mine, i'm on Koni Yellows and GC springs. My shock towers are cut out and front shocks sit further into fork by taking brakeline collar off.

ok I'm about done color sanding and buffing the car...I'm going to be putting one the 17's and if I dont like them its goin up for sale...I also got a new steering wheel. New shots as soon as I get the hub in the mail (looking for thin side moldings. If anybody want to sell me theres let me know)

finally!!
just got the call from AAA.
They're giving me 3Gs for her. So, now i'm in a perdicament. i start a new job this thursday, and i have the rental til 11/7.
talk about rushed for time on a DB search. lol.

DAMN Ian!!!! You and Rex are killing me with these new pics! Car looks sick with the Betas on there. Can't wait to have mine finished. But i'm really leaning towards the polished/chrome guys.
