Just to start crap again i call on that being a gs-r. There is no way you just decided ot downgrade to a DA hatch. No one does that.

If you didn't read clear enough, while doing body work I warped my hatch. But I guess you didn't read that.

And I guess it's not GS-R because it doesn't have the vtec mouldings either, cuz I have the JDM thin sides right? And I don't have the GS-R badge on my trophy either. So I guess mine is just a regular DA, that just has the letters/numbers DB2 in the VIN.

for you.. there is no rule (unless your gay and go by Honda-tech rules which you probably are and probably do) that says you cant swap hatches. that's what i would too if i had a DB2, im actually looking at getting one and if i get it im going to take off that hatch to get rid of that wing ( because i don't want to weld/ ruin a DA/DB2 hatch, dam cars are old and its getting harder and harder to find OEM parts for them every day) i have a GS and it has a wing and i wanna to rip it off but waiting till i paint it.

OMFG, just take a f'n picture of the vin on the firewall already and put an end to this crap! BTW, i have seen more than 1 gs-r that looks like an LS and vice versa.

body features on a DA are meaningless examples by which to diagnose a model type by! not to mention, i really doubt any of you really care if he does or does not have a gs-r.

Why do people represent so hard about it being a GSR anyway when they change majority of the "GSR" parts from it??? Who cares, and why say it a DB2?? Bragging rights??

Not trying to start nothing but really, someone tell me WHY is the GS, RS, LS, badging important...

Dude. I read all of what you said. Read what I typed again. SLOOOOOOOOOOWLY.

You pompously stated that MOST DA owners are crybabies, but you are assuming that the relatively small amount of DA owners in this thread and on Honda-Tech are an accurate representation of MOST DA owners.

You just wanted to talk ****...

no one is saying that badging is important (but if i had a DB2 i would brag cause they are rare and a great piece of history in the DA world) its like this would you rather have a 1969 Chevelle Malibu or a 1969 Chevelle SS, of course your going to want the SS its the top model. Same with Mustangs do you want a 1965 Mustang or a 1965 Fastback Mustang.. its a no brainer....but it is annoying when some one tries to tell you what model your car is and isnt based on what they see on or what you have missing. for you too

I'm not trying to start any arguements but I have a question?
For all of you who bought already built/modded cars, why?
Just curious and wanted to know everyones opinions/reasons.

I've put together 3 cars in the past and although i had a blast doing so I no longer have the place to do so. So I decided to buy this car and I will slowly change what I don't like about it and make it my own.
