Yeah they do look good on his car. I'm wondering how they would look on a light colored or red car like mine. Oh well, i'll keep my "super cool" jdm headlights for now.

Ok well Fellas with Turbo setups, Clue me in on what setups your running. I'd love to get a nice setup together but dont feel like spending a lot of money. I think If I could get it to within $5k Im game. The worst part is I have already gone down the all motor path, So my pistons, cams and other minor parts will have to go

Things like stock block or sleeved, what ems are you running, what type of cams, turbo and mani setup, would be great

Thanks,

IMO: Why = because when they bolt that hook up to your Factory tow hook the strap or chain hits your bumper and can scratch, crack or chip paint off your bumper.

With an Aftermarket tow hook that sticks out you dont have to worry about that as much...

Plus it looks Pretty Sweet too! hahaha

o rly?

i always thought tow hooks belong on DSM's cuz they break all the time. i think they look ricer... 99% of the cars i see with them on, arent race cars, and most likely would never need a tow aside from being pulled out of a ditch

Mattb16-
a lot of that really depends on your power goals. you can get a pretty nice peakboost kit quite reasonable. that will make 350 or so to the wheels. if there is a good tuner around your area, stock sleeves should be fine. sleeved blocks are a lot of $$ to spend on a 400whp car. it is money well spent, but not necessary. you can peice a kit together reasonably too, but it can be quite a pain in the ***.

whats your power/e.t. goal anyway?

hahaha, those poor DSMs! I'd rather see a Huge Intercooler on the front insted of a front tow hook, But i still like the rear hooks, hahaha.

i never had them, went from Sohc Turbo, then to an Ls Turbo in my crx. If it broke i just pushed it, i was never towed!

Mine has been used twice. instead of putting the car up onto a bed or even off the ground they used the tow hook to lift it off the ground and took it that way.
