with a stock block, you'll run around the same times.
404's need compression, and without it, you get a super narrow powerband moved up on the rev range, and a really cool sounding motor. Do yourself a favor and upgrade to, at least, a PR3 piston.

My buddy that recently sold a k20 powered coupe had the 404 setup. '00 LS block with full Crower valvetrain and 404's, b16 tranny with OBX LSD.
It put down like 154whp(give or take), and felt like a GSR built on a good day
Really fun setup..just becuase of the sound and idle, haha. He ran the same time as his stock LS motor...literally.
Lay some ITR or b16 slugs in there...hold on to your butts.

Did you replace the throw-out bearing??? sounds to me that either the throw-out bearing is shot or the pegs on the throw out bearing snapped causing it not to go into gear. I snapped one of those and i thought it was my tranny or my clutch but the piece was wedged in between the throw out bearing and the spring. Causing the car to get stuck in gears. let me know

Sounds/looks like your pressure plate, how did the old 6 puck look? If it wasnt worn down all the way maybe it was your pressure plate that failed, I've had it happen before. Same symptoms too. (in gear but not engaging)
although IT doesnt sound like the TO bearing, it would probably squeel and make more noise than that. I noticed you didnt change your PP and just replaced the clutch disk.
