yea the b16 heads off at the shop right as we speak getting a serdi valve job and a resurface.

AHHHHHHHHHHHH so I hit a dip in the road today and cracked my Carbon lip. Its not bad at all and barely noticable so ill be ok LoL. What are the tendancies of the cracks turning into something bigger????

 

depends lol, does ur lip slap or drag every time u leave a driveway?, if so, then maybe

otherwise u should be ok if u drive carefully

 

haha no not at all, just a little crack. But will it spider and get worse?

 

exactly why im not going with cf...too much money to waste for it to crack. but damn do they look good.

so about the water leak, anybody got pix on where the part needs replacing?

 

yea...whos got pics of what needs to be plugged ? lets keep it rated HT.

 

its the grommets in the windshield wiper cowl.

 

 

u need qty 8 of part # 91608-SJ6-003

when u go to the Acura dealer, have the parts guy print u a detailed blueprint of the area with part #'s and locations, it will guide u during installation

also, u may want to purchase additional screws/rivets as shown on the blueprint, as some of them may break during installation

also, buy some waterproof silicone sealant or weatherstrip and completely seal off the small panel covering air assembly under the large wiper cowl, this helps greatly.

do NOT seal the wiper cowl to your windshield like some people do, this does not help at all, as the small panel underneath the wiper cowl was designed to accept water flow

also, during winter/rainy days keep the air set to INSIDE AIR only, it will help prevent leaks

thats all i got...looks funny cuz it dont have a front lip...lip is getting painted...

 

that is gonna look great with the painted lip...nice color choice.
