** Edit, just looked on my desktop here at work, same thing. Found out the issue, I bet you were picking GSR or so? I was selecting RS(as habit since the car is an RS) and the parts lists/diagrams are different for those 2 trim levels.

So see, RS:

In other news, this happened while at the track yesterday. If anyone knows of a b17a block for sale or even a b16a/b18c short or long block please lmk. Time to see what the next chapter has in store so I'm checking out my options.

I actually searched both GSR and RS, but I forget what year RS. I think it might just be that website that has a glitch. I much prefer www.acuraautomotiveparts.org but when I'm looking for parts and/or comparing p/n's...etc I often will look at multiple websites and search for different years/trim levels.

OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what happened? Did you drop oil pan or anything yet to investigate?
The engine's been making a ticking noise since my last event at Chuckwalla about 3 weeks ago. I've been trying to diagnose the problem but couldn't figure it out - but my worry was that it could be the beginning of rod knock. It drove just fine but couldn't handle more than a lap around Buttonwillow till it gave out. I haven't pulled it apart yet, it blew at 8:30a yesterday and than after drowning my sorrows in a 12pk I spent the remainder of the day riding with tow truck drivers getting the car home. Didn't make it home till after 10pm. I'm SUPER busy with work right now and will be busy over the next few weekends going to Coachella and a trip to DC, so I'm not sure when I'll start tearing it down. I might even just try to find a swap real quick to toss in there and not even worry about tearing down this motor.
^ well good luck and get to it! Or let it sit til you want to love it again!
I'm back in the love phase with mine right now, getting odds and ends and doing this master bushing kit, can't wait to drive it!
Ah, coming over here! Anything special in DC? East coast DA MD/VA/DC get together maybe?

Yeah, mine has moved out of the "love" phase, lol. Lots of little things were bugging me recently and now this is the cherry on top...
As for DC, it's just a quick trip to visit an old highschool friend, unfortunately I'm not going to have any extra time while there
