DA Integra's Only
Mine is. Probably possible if you dremel the heck out of it and make it paper thin.
It just looks soo much better without the grill and all front mount!

Here's my mock up:

I had a brain fart while making the brackets for the top. I forgot the headlights would hit those 2 bars there.
Basically ended up running a bar across the top that mounts to the support.

Matt-did you just use an eBay piping kit to run that charge piping? Was there enough in one kit to get it all done? I'm debating drilling a 3" hole in the driver's side frame rail to shorten that hot side and hopefully give me a little less lag/more throttle response.
I used mostly the piping that came with the intercooler. I did use some random piping a buddy had because they way I wanted to run my piping. I didn't want to drill a hole there, running up and over isn't going to make a ton of difference with lag/response. NCSI is redoing his too and is just going to do it the same way as I did also.

yeah sam right now i'm debating between drilling a hole or just taking my intercooler to a good welder i know of locally and having it switch it to a back door setup for me. right now i'm really leaning towards the back door set up. a lot let piping/headache to worry about. keeps things simple and clean and effective
Eh, I mean the guy is right however it really won't make that much difference. But the headache part is right and I wish I just ran a backdoor setup.
I just didn't want to drill a hole and mess with the frame like that.
It might also be tough finding someone to weld up the IC and do a really good job on it.
I couldn't imagine going backdoor because my spool time now is super low and I couldn't imagine having all that power sooner, tires would never stop spinning!

im not worried about finding a welder to do it at all. i'm lucky when it comes to ANYthing i need welded. found a local guy who does amazing work with anything you take him. hell i thought about even just getting a core and having him make custom end tanks from the start. still debating
I ran my setup backdoor just offset the inner cooler to the pass. side a little. I ended up with a total of 4 bend in my whole piping setup two 90's and two 45's running and with only three couplers the rest of the joints where welded. I am running a t3/t4 50trim garret turbo on a 99 gsr with xsi trans. The car is a blast to drive instant power.
efcivic: tails look much better. When I did mine I spent awhile with the gf hair dryer to get them bone dry. I think it helped a little.
I'm going to do my driver side piping through the rail. My buddy is an amazing welder and he offered to step in and do it. So we are going to give it a try. I think the main thing is going to be making sure it's fully welded on both sides of the frame as to not weaken it. I hope it works out ok.
