a 200 hp B vs a 200 hp K

the K will own, if it properly tune the K has a much better powerband development. i have personally ran K cars and the best i was able to get was to only get pulled a car.

most of the K cars here run 12.8 tp 13.6 in civics.

LoL no way will any B series all motor car stack up to a K, at all! Do you homework!

Hell even stock block K and stock sleeved block B turbo setups. Local guy just made 600+ on his turbo K up at JK in PA on a stock sleeved pump gas K.

And Juda, it doesn't take that much, not at all. All depends what you find and with all the wrecked TSXs, Accords and RSXs its easy to grab a cheap block.

My buddy who is building his k24/k20 probably only has about 5 or 6k into it and SHOULD be making well over 300hp. We will see next week.

I can't see a 300 hp k motor in a dc teg for 5k or even 6k when people paying that much just to swap stock k motors in dc and eg k pro alone is a grand. 300 hp k motors are running 10 sec times if it was that cheap to go that fast everyone would have a k

Not true, especially when you do all your own work.
I just asked him about where he got his long block and trans.
Got a Type S 6 speed with LSD for free when he worked at Honda an rebuilt it. Paid $600 for long block.
You'd also be amazed at what trades can get you!

So right there those are all the major components for dirt cheap.
People pay that much because they go to a shop which charges overhead on their parts and their labor.

and also as we talked about before, et times aren't all about HP. Suspension and driving play a lot into that mix, so it's not that easy for people to go 10's......

the engine and trans is actually the easy and cheap part its everything else that cost like i said before k pro is 1000-1200 wiring unless your gonna hack your own stuff cost a chunk header is a grand and then you talking 300 hp so you need pistons head work cams etc etc i still doubt he making 300 hp for 6k with a k series and no its not easy but the 15 or so known 10 sec or 11 sec allmotor hondas that run k swaps all have about 300 hp and well over 6k in the motor

again the potential is better wit the k but you gonna come out your pockets a lot more running a k then a b series and believe it or not the performance between the k and b isnt that hugh of a diffrence there is still 10-11 sec allmotor b and h cars out there

haha I'm not trying to create an argument, just stating what I was told lol..............

He is waiting on him Drag Cartel stage 4's and then off to the dyno. So I guess we will see!

LoL I'm hitting him up now for a run down on cost. He could be mis-calculating lol!

There are only a handful of H cars but honestly there are no more B cars that I know of, this is speaking in terms of real drag racing events.

lol no such thing as arguments and actually it is a few b cars and what is considered real drag events lol the so called real drag event all motor hondas are running in the 9 sec range im talking all motor street which is the 11.5 to around 10.5 sec range and i can assure you that the people running in the real drag events that run 9 sec times have probably over 10 k in there motors
