You'll be cool. Just take your time, and don't cut all the way through on your first run. The less you heat it up while cutting the better.

The lip goes back to far and hits the bottom of the Ic...I cant get the ic up any farther without doing alot of crazy cutting or modifications...If I could just trim or cut back about 1/2in of the lip in about a 1ft long section it will fit fine...Im just curious how the carbon fiber will act with me using a dye grinder to it..

The top part where it mounts is about 5in wide so taking a 1/2in sound not affect it..

should be a lot better than cut springs. i'm not sure about the blues but i had skunk2's with tokico whites (5 way adjustable) on my last civic and i loved it. kept them set right in the middle on 3 and never even tried any other settings. not too stiff, not too soft. i also kept them when i sold the shell lol

EXACTLY!!! i got so tired of never getting anywhere with shops around here back in the day. thats when i started to teach myself how to do EVERYTHING i possibly could. saves soooooo much money and time. plus, if you know what you're doing, you know its done right and exactly what parts were used and how they were installed.

yea i jus got them cut the cut ones were way to low and was on the car when i bought it last week. crossmember hits on the bottom and leans more to the driver side so yea def a better upgrade than wut it is now, but i kno its not the best lol

That's going to feel like crap unless you get better shocks. Illumina or Koni Yellow is a must anyways if trying to lower the car on aftermarket springs.

Don't worry, I used to do it all the time at a job building carbon planes and jets. I'm not sure how many plies JDP uses, but try to take it a couple layers deep at a time. And just make sure that it doesn't get hot to the touch, that's when you know it's too much heat.

lol its just a cheap replacement, my car was reverse raked on 17' with stock shocks and cut springs when i bought her. i had to get something decent. Got the tokiko blues and skunk2 sleeves, cruised with them for a while, then decided to spin the front sleeves all the way down and the rears a little more to even it out. I'm dumped now but when my check starts rolling in ill begoing for a koni yellow/GC set up.

i wouldn't completely agree with that. but, i wouldn't completely disagree either. my friend used to have blues with eibach springs. car felt great! i think they're fine for just regular springs, but for coil over sleeves i'd want more. i liked how my illuminas/skunk2 sleeves felt together.

after that, ask him if he would like for you to send him more pics of your car so he can sell faster.
