Yes. If the lower right hole for the stud is in between/right above the 'E' and 'N' on the valve cover, IT'S REAL. Not to mention, look at the quality of the machining in the spark plug holes. That's 100% real.

I would've sold that thing for at least $800.

H4H.

I'm amazed that you couldn't find that info without asking in this thread. Either that or you're just lazy.

That first pic was only showing what it did look like. I'll have to try and see if I can find one before photo of my own. Either way I paid almost nothing for it and I'm not a "mugen" fan. I'll look to see if it is a real mugen cover. If it was I'd LOL forsure. I think it looks good to me the way I have it now though. That would be crazy to buy just a valvecover for $800. What some people will pay for JDM stuff is nuts.

Well, it's a status symbol. Mugen had to make money to fund racing development somehow, right.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

You may have redeemed yourself. Again, not that I think it's a big deal to do that to a Mugen valve cover because of "JDM worship," but it would be a missed opportinity to rake in some easy cheddar if you shaved a real Mugen cover.

It's just the way you put it...........

I'm surprised someone didn't answer why waste time providing an answer.

Well here it goes, I bought the Full Race traction bar about 2 to 3 years ago. I followed the Full race installation instructions on there site, but I didn't drill out the spot welds on the radiator mounts and remove the mounts. I kind of force the traction bar on, so everything is installed and go test it out. I noticed that every time I turned to the right the left axle would click pretty loud and really just ignored that. I go to do a quick launch and the Driver side CV Boot breaks and the axle is ****ed. I get another axle from Autozone and install it with the same results. So I decide to remove the Traction bar and install the front beam with the stock radius arms back. I also buy an aftermarket axle from the Driveshaft Shop and been with this set up for about a year or 2. So, last month I decide to install the traction bar back on. This time I removed the radiator mounts, installed the traction bar which fit even better than last, and got the caster done. The left axle doesn't click as loud as the first time(my left axle has been click since I bought the car). Everything seems really good until I'm driving down a canyon and I'm going through a turn, Shift to fourth coming out of the turn, and floor it. Well when I floored it the car didnt want to go any where. The engine sounded like if I held the Hand brake all the way up and gave it gas. So I took it out of gear and once i got to a straight away I put it in fifth gear and gave it half throttle. The car makes the same noise. It doesnt make that noise if I dont give it more then half throttle. Also everytime would shift from first to second the axle would make a clacking noise. any ways any thoughts on what it might be or if you had any problems like this with yours.
Sorry for the big post and if it made any sense. I'm at work and had to make this fast.

I have no where to drive, I walk to school since its a few blocks from me. Plus, I just went and tried to start it up just because I was bored and the battery is dead. After my finals I definitely need to check what's draining my battery.
