so, does anyone who owns a DA care about performance? or racing? cuz all i see is people talking about a car being "slizzamed" or JDM.... i was wondering if any of these DA's might have a RMF header on it... or do you know if it will fit the DA... pleasse tell me there are performance driven DA owners out there!!

im not trying to be an ***, its just all the guys i hang out with always make fun of DA cuz people modify them, but not many people make them fast.... dont get me wrong lookin good is fun, but racing the 1/4 mile is by far more fun!!

Finally someone thinks like me.
My engine mod list is definitely much longer than aesthetics.
The only thing aesthetic on mine are lighter wheels and lighter headlights!

no such thing as enough performance my good man
im shooting for 350 whp next year on the bottle!! 210 motor 350 bottle, but thats what im hoping for, realisticly, ill be happy with 195 motor, 325 bottle

Well my other Integra has been put on the back burner. I am finally going to school (college) and putting a new budget in play to pay off my debts by the beginning of '06. Hopefully I will get things going again with the DA in the new year, but here she is as she sits in one of three garages:



These originally were on this car, but I put them on the GS-R until I got some new wheels.

I stripped the entire interior (it was silver and blue vinyl, and painted), purchased the seat for $20, all the interior pieces (dash, console, steering wheel, buttons, gauge cluster) for $60, "new" radiator and alternator...the stock header had stripped bolts and was junked, the exhaust was junked, power steering lines junked, engine bay a/c items junked, no name coilovers junked, rear blown stock shocks junked...um...yeah.
The engine bay was covered with oil leak, exhaust leak, dirt, dust, bugs...and took about 24 man hours to clean.
I haven't decided if I should keep the B16 that came with her and go n/a, or get a B18B back in her and go pressurized?
She needs new motor mounts as the shop that did the work, did shady work with the wrong year of mounts. Going with a traction bar, 6+2 SCCA cage, and will replace as many parts with carbon as I can, as well as replace as much glass with Lexan.
I will be ditching the temporary seat once the cage is in with a race seat and a 5 point harness.
Anyways, big plans, lots of talk, but hopefully complete by next summer.
The list that I created for the GS-R has been whittled down, and almost complete, so don't think that this is just talk and all for naught.

I should post some pics of my step dad's car. Everything stock on the outside except fat fives. He runs mid 13's at 5000+ ft. elevation and has beaten many non-z06 C5's.

<---performance driven da owner... building my motor as we speak but funds is stopping me college student and no job isnt a good combination... and your most likey gonna have to notch the cross member to fit the rmf header...
