with a modified exhaust ticket you still have to go to the state ref. but, they only do a decibel test. its a correctable violation so you can put your stock one on before your visit. not the same as modified emission where they take pictures of everything and you have to take the car as is.

These problems you guys have are redic.
I have not ever seen emissions in my DA, before I go I always slam the car out. They look at me and laugh and bring out some block on a stick and try to jam it under the car.
I have heard rumors they are putting bays that an inspector can walk under and examine your car from the bottom

yeah its a real pain. Im currently putting my car back to stock because of my fix it ticket/state ref visit coming up. It'll be stock until I can pick up a dd

8 exhaust valves. they are on order and when i get those i should have the ls block assembled and ready to go in.
it all happens for a reason, im the type of guy that would have assembled the block and not put it in because i got lazy. now i have to fix it!

y??? ive been getting out of the hole harder i think thats why my trap times have gone down
