After starting my d16y5 project I have realized that there's a lot of love for the vx and hx civics and their corresponding drive trains. They may not be the fastest or the nicest looking civics. But man, they're the coolest

So to all you guys that are loving this underdog "economy" motor and love the gas mileage, this "crew/squad" or whatever is for you.

Also to those of you that have realized the potential of the d16y5 head like me, this squad is for you.

And also, to those of you that are using the z1/y5 head to achieve good gas mileage, this "squad/crew" is for you!

And to make some of you guys jealous here's some neat facts about the vx/hx:
1. d15z1 is the only usdm d-series that comes with a factory oil cooler
2. d15z1 is the only d-series that has an aluminum alternator bracket
3. d15z1 is the only d-series that has an aluminum a/c bracket
4. d15z1 has a lighter flywheel (15lbs vs 18lbs)
5. d16y5 and d15z1 both have factory roller rockers!
6. vx and hx civics are the only civics that come with factory alloys.
7. d16y5 uses the same head as a d16y8, only it's rockers and cam are different SO NO SMALL PORTS ON THE y5!!!!
8. wideband o2 sensors!
9. rear bumper diffuser on the vx!
10. tachometers on both the hx and the vx!
11. civic hx is the only non 4.25 final drive transmission that has a big bearing case that takes better to abuse!

Never thought I'd actually create a serious squad, but this one's for the underdogs!
