BUILT NOT BOUGHT!
cant go wrong with it though. newer car, more money for .. payment, gas and insurance (if it applies haha) if i could drive a stock mint wagon/sedan, it'd do it for gas sake haha!
if i could find a mint accord or even like a 2000 civic sedan with low miles i would do it. It would just be nice to have something that has alot of room as well so maybe even saloon accord.
if you can afford to get a car without having payments or full coverage then do it, the amount of money you spend paying for the car each money could be alot into your savings

so a very very small update from me... i bought a new piston ring compressor today. i know, exciting, right? lol
and in other news...

I'm about ready to finish the radio being recessed into the dash, I built the bezel and wrapped it today, leather wrapped with aluminum inserts. I still need a 12 wire shielded cable to hook the face to the main box. If anyone is wondering why i'm not working on the engine, I just ran out of money, so I'm working on the stuff I can finish, until I can get back under the hood. I don't need to be able to access the radio buttons while driving, as I can control most of the popular radio functions with one finger from the center console

i dont know i'd probably go with a tsx, both are slow, but i think the TL's are slower. Thats the exact reason why i got a g35 sedan over a gs300, tsx, tl, etc. All of the other options were too slow
so whats up guys? had a bad start to my weekend last night. got a phone call that 2 of my friends were in a bad car wreck and one of them had gotten life lined. made for a rather stressful night last night. she seems to be doing a lot better today though from i hear! so at least started out with some better news today.
replaced a mid pipe for another friend today on his car and since i was already in the shop, i grabbed my z6 head, took the intake mani off, cleaned the head up and threw it in the car and made a trip to the machine shop.
getting it planed and 3 of the 5 holes for the valve cover bolts fixed since they all stripped out on me.
also while i was there, i talked to him about some pricing for my block work i'm going to need done before building it. to go from stock 75mm to 75.5mm bore, he is only charging me $10 per cylinder!! freakin right!! forgot to ask him how much, but i will also be getting the deck planed as well and possibly get the mains align honed as well. also going to take the crank to get checked out and polished too. gonna be a process over the next couple months as i get extra money here and there to drop things off to him. also still gotta order my pistons before taking the block in to him.
here's 2 pics i snapped with my phone real quick while i was in there. he mainly does v8's for dirt track racing. but he does amazing work and always treats me right on pricing.

i counted at least 32-35 v8 blocks/engines in there today and its not a very big shop.

we had a great shop like that here, but one of his guys got killed driving the company truck, and it went downhill from there, finally closed. They were here for over 50 years
