alright so lets see if anyone has had this problem.

my battery keeps drainning out. i have replaced my battery and i know my alternator is still good because my car stays on even though the battery is dead. i replaced my alternator belt and i've check all my fuses.

a friend of mine with a db1 is also having the same problem. He also took his alternator to get tested and they said it perfectly working. he also replaced his battery with a red top optimal. same problem.

at one point while driving my radio and clock went out and in my friends car his headlight and radio went out.

it would go out for a bIt then come back on then go out again and so on.

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!

 

you have a parasitic draw in your system. meaning something is staying on in your car, when its supposed to go off at "key off" check your trunk light, and your interior lights. and make sure your doors are all shut all the way. thats my best guess right now.

Well I got a nice little fix it ticket last night for $180.Because supposedly my left brake light was out and found out, it turns off when I press my brake pedal.I then went to go check out my bulbs and one of the terminals on each bulb were worn out.So everything is fixed and that cop can go suck a fat one for being a dick about it.

 

renosedan: i have a cap running my system and that the only thing that stays on. i removed it and hopefully that helps. will check the interior lights and trunk light.

I picked this up tonight for $180 from a friend who is returning his gsr back to stock so he can sell it. Overall good shape. One small crack and some rock chips but nothing major.
Car is almost done. Painted on Friday and Monday it starts getting put back together. So if all goes well I should have it by late next week. Fingers crossed.
