dang man fu cken blows
race wars was on saturday, we turned the H2B on and got it to idol good and all but the gears wouldnt go in, when the car was on, but when its off they went in just fine
not sure whats going on, if you force the gears then they go in but didnt feel to safe so we didnt take it, did good at race wars though, our rival team took a Vitara single cam boosting 25 lbs, and a K24/K20 hybrid integra DC2, took the vitara by 3 car lengths
on the first run on the second we made the slicks wrinkle and the k gripped like a monster and demolished the vitara by 5car lengths
they were !!pissed!! haha but what ever, we kept calling on the k24 but the dude was too scared to run our K he didnt even wanna run our LS-v EF hatch
its all coo
team midnight racing (my crew) took the win once again
id like to thank my midnight soldiers for putting it down once again and proving that an experienced driver can out launch boost all day!!
and this is the culprit terorizing the sceen right now

this is the H22 long block

after we cleaned it up and through a lil paint on it

this is the H2b plate

and this is the balance shaft eliminator plate from Kaisen speed

the si-r II trannt with ctr final drive before paint

this is the engine assembled with the sir-II transmission with the ctr final drive

like i told you guys before we were having some clearance issues so i had to get the grinder out and make some space for the crank pulley *** well as the alternater

and this is when we had already dropped and mounted the engine in the bay

and this is the finished product after it was turned on and set on timing idoling correctly

still have a couple lil bugs to work out of it but the car is on, we just need to fix the gear problem and the car is finished and ready to tear up the strip
it just bugs me out cuz when the car is off the gears flow smoothly its just when the car is on that the gears seem to be realy dificult to go in

Did you ever think when the car is off there is nothing in the motor or transmission moving..... You more then likely just need to adjust the clutch properly and also bleed the system. If it's not fully disengaging then you won't be able to select a gear.
wow i been gone for a while.
skankz: thats a nice eg you got going! keep us updated!
midnight: got any videos?
91_ls: what up.
sc34dc4: NICE! cant wait for the finish pic!
dkyamada: how did the car wash go bro?
as for my car.. not much really. just did a brake job and got a new battery.
how's everyone else doing?

All rules of grammar and spelling fly right out the window on H-T.

Oh me likey this thread...
This is my 2nd CRX - My first was an 89 SI that had a body kit and full suspension but stock SI motor and trans.
This time I'm going to go 100% cheapo. I'm going to do all the motor work and body myself (I've built many a motors and do sportbike body for a living) plus I'm going to build the best motor I can from 100% salvage yard parts. I even started super cheap and needing much work - Paid $350 for the car and that was too much (89 DX): Car does run. Fuse #15 was smoked as was the main relay. The idiot put a toggle switch on the fuel pump. That didn't work (for obvious reasons). It does fire when fuel is added to it manually so theres a supply problem there and the radiator isn't really a radiator. I'll post pics of the thing when I get it dollied back home. Right now it is still in the previous O's yard.
So, this is my first post and the car and I will go from here to something extraordinary - I promise - in someway or another! ;-)
