10 years doing this car crap, never ran a gsr or a b16. it was always a b20vtec and lsvtec ftw. my b20vtec cost me 1100 with tranny. GL with your B16a.

been gone for a minute but todd from graveyard design gave me some proofs and quotes on prices. this is what we are looking at from them.

1 at a time (single color) 12" x 1.5" = $5 each

Hay guys,been a long time.

What a day i had.
Was at the store,came out to the car and started it,ran down the street to get gas,started it up and started to pull away and the car cut out.
I tried starting it and it would try to fire but no start. I checked fuel,relay and there wore good so i checked spark and nothing. Pulled the cap off and the coil,rotor and cap was fried.
$115 bucks for parts and 75 for a flatbed to tow me 2 blocks to my house. HOW THE HELL DO THEY SLEEP AT NIGHT? lol
Anyways,shes running again after fighting with the guy in autozone. He kept saying my car is not a Vtec that its a B18A1 and wouldn't understand that i did a 95 GSR swap in it that i needed the coil for an OBD1 Vtec B18C1.
After about 30min of fighting and me about to throw a thing of oil at him,his boss walked up and took over.
I so wanted to strangled someone as well. The guy at the AM PM was telling me i needed to "PUSH" the car off is lot ASAP. But the exit was this big hill and no one was willing to help. So i told the guy that if he don't get the hell away from me and do his job,i was going to beat the hell out of him. Even the cop laughed but told me to chill out..lol
Let me also add that i do have AAA but they denied me cause my car was lowered?? I have all stock shocks and springs on the car. Why it looks low is cause the skirts and lip,so ill be making some calls tomorrow.

 

when you buy parts, buy it for the car the motor came from. no drama lol. man i was towed like 10 miles for 40 bucks, how do they sleep at night over there haah!

no where in the rules does it say AAA will not tow your car if it is lowered.
I've done it more than a dozen times, you talk to the right people, in a tactful way, you may be refunded for your tow.

What if you had a corvette that is fairly low at factory specs or even a porsche which comes slammed from the factory? They gonna tell u they can't do it?

They aren't exactly trying to rip u off, its the morons that have lowered cars and expect nothing to get scrapped and when they do they try suing the tow company for compensation.

Tow company is just trying to save their own ***, just be tactful and friendly so they don't have an excuse to say no

 

True. People that lower their cars need to just accept the fact that eventually, it is going to sustain some damage from it.
