BUILT NOT BOUGHT!
whats "everything" cause you can get a b20 block for like 250-300, a b16 head complete for 350-400, ecu for 100 or less everything to put the b20v together for about 200, a bone stock b20v set up will rape a b16

and they charge you extra for putting it all together for you, if you took your time and sourced your own parts you could have all of that and a quicker set up, honestly i think a b20 non vtec with a b16 trans in your car would smoke a b16
dont want to discourage you from what you're doing, just giving you my honest opinion, it is easier for you to buy it from HMO, well i guess just think of it this way, after your b16 is in and running, and you get used to the power and want more, you can just pick up a b20 block and build it on the side while you drive the b16 then later swap it in, or even an ls block and go ls v, or boost the b16 haha, theres alot of options, i just really think you wont be satisfied from the power of a b16
for another three bills you could get the gsr swap, then get axles mounts and linkage from craigslist and/or junk yard, or you could get just a gsr long block w ecu for arround 2 grand and again craigslist shop for tranny, mounts, linkage, and axles...
dumbda, is that your car in your avitar? that ***** CLEAAAAAAAAAAAN

I agree with DumaDA also on going the crvtec route , also not to discourage you from getting the jdm b16 Evan if that was your inital plan then go for it...BUT you would definately have more torque and just a badass setup going b20vtec PLUS more extra $$$ to put into other things for your car
then again it's your build and if that makes you happy then that's all that matters in the end regardless what we all say.

at the end of the day its your car so doesnt really matter what we say, just saying if you're looking for big power and want a fast car, b16 isnt where you want to be looking, pick up the swap and hopefully you guys can get it running soon, you'll still have fun with it
yup
dont worry about what other people think all the time, youre always asking what other people think, if you like it then do it, bottom line.
