hmmm well i can do two outta three for now

i have a 1991 civic hatch back white std model

bought the car as a theft recovery from my buddys dad

it had a broken window stolen dizzy and battery

got it home cleaned it up bought a dizzy and battery and the car started

set the timing and before i new it the car was on fire

weeds and spider webs under the car from it sitting light up quick

after the fire was out, adjusted the timing put the two steelies in the front \

and two spares in the back and went to smog...i failed first time got new cat and piping

and passed...after that i swapped parts from my old hatch to the new one all cosmetic

****...drove it around for a while with the stock motor and tranny...lowered it on sprint

springs got gs mesh for free from a buddy...got all mudflaps vw front lip...da rear lip

a few months back my head gasket took a **** and i was gonna rebuild another sohc

but my boy sold me a y7 for 200 complete i sold all the obd2 **** i didnt need and made

a bill back...so now i have a y7 with a four speed tranny with like 3000 miles...ill be

getting a si tranny once i get back to socal....

i dont have pics on this computer but i will get some in this thread next week

 

also converted to mpfi put a new brake booster and master cylender

fix the window on the drivers side since it doesnt work

but my ac blows ice so it doesnt bother me (r12)

front struts are needed get a new amp

swap out the vw lip for a first gen da lip

 

yeah thats not even half the story ahaha

so it gives him something to do...and no he doesnt do it for me we work together he

he has a 83 el camino and 97 4runner both have new trannys in the last 6 months

and the 4runner has a new head lol

Hey, guys. ok, so i'm sincerely thinking about dropping out of college to go to school to be a mechanic. lol. i'm a junior and i don't want to end up in a job i hate, and all i can think about is how much i want to work on cars all day long. i have a friend who is a mechanic and he absolutely LOVES his life and what he does everyday. opinions?

i say finish school for ur degree just in case and then do what u want love .. cause if u have both u have a better chance looking for alot of jobs and maybe having 2 jobs making bank..
