Ran a 16.7 last Friday @ the track. I forget my mph, I think it was around 83/84. Not bad for 220k miles .

sorry i havent been on for a while, havent work less than 70 hrs a week the last 3 weeks for the new store.

 

the hurricane had crazy flooding but it was nothing compared to what weve had in texas...katrina, rita, and ike! We where stuck in traffic for over 30 hours for a 4 hour drive to austin!

 

damn that must of sucked

on a lighter note, the alarm company just called and i had to rearm the alarm 4 an 1/2 hours later after the store closed. why couldnt they call me at a decent hour now i cant sleep

Spent the weekend at my friends parents house in the middle out in the middle of no where. Did some charcoal bbq, rode 4-wheelers, hung out with friends I haven't seen in a while, and was going to shoot skeet but it ended up raining so we cancelled. Overall a good weekend.

^ I'm right there with ya bro. Engine build is being put on the back burner for a lil bit. My girl was drivin my car around with some friends and she did the dreaded 3rd to 2nd shift. bent my rods and most of my valves. coulda been way worse, but all the money i had saved up had to go into rebuilding that one. Women drivers.. haha jp

 

Had to re-adjust one of my projectors. Cut off is back to being mint. Looks like it's just me and...1 other SOHC member that have projectors out of everyone? Rock on .

Does anyone here have ways of lowering a car about 10 - 20mm?(0.3 - 0.7inches)
Must be DIY, till I get some coilies

 

u could technically cut your springs but i def not recommend that

 

^ just wait to get the coils. cutting or heating springs are not a good idea

My car handles great and has enough speed for the roads I drive on,so that's how I justify no boost LOL
