today i ordered a gates timing belt, a new aem cam gear ( to replace my worn out venom), and since im in there i will be doing the water pump.

im taking orders but i need enough to cover the minimum order, these will be done by a certified 3m installer so they are good quality, i have my club stickers made by them as well, and my sponsor has his done by the same company too.

that red coupe is hot! Me and few buddies went out and snapped a few pictures today. Only thing was I was the only single slammer and everyone else had a b swap lol. But o well i like my girls like i like my cars, with D's not B's.
Dam havent been on in a couple of days lol and i see this new sohc thread. So hows everyone doin. I finally sold my green hatch. Now i can focus on my black hatch and the linc.
Hey Matt, i did some **** to the eg this weekend. I found out there was NO thermo! I added that bitch and i immediately was able to get to operating temp within like 2 minutes of driving.
I replaced the plugs, which i found out were gapped to like .50 instead of .44. I switched the IACV plug and the IAT plug and it looks like they were switched by the previous owner. I know they're right because when i had the car running, i'de unplug it and its obviously doing its job.
Sad news, i still have bad gas milage, the IAT cel is still on for some reason even after ECU reset. My rad fan doesnt come on by itself, BUT, the fan works when i do the paperclip trick at the fan switch.
I have the smell of fuel in my engine bay, and dipstick smells a little like fuel. I didnt get a chance to take a look at the injectors yet.

2. correct me if im wrong but i thought that the IACV plug was green and the IAT plug was whiteish/creamish/tannish colored. anyone confirm?
3 could you be running too rich? do you have an aftermarket FPR?
1. how many degrees is your new thermostat? because i believe that the fan kicks on at a certain temp, and if your thermo is keeping your engine at a temp that is lower than what is required to turn the fan on, its obviously not going to turn on.

I think my thermo is 180F, if not, its like 170F.
Doesnt look like there is an aftermarket FPR on there, the rail is oem with no aftermarket gauge or anything.

This is how it was BEFORE i fixed it. this setup in this pic is wrong i believe, i switched everything and with the car on, the IACV would react to the plug. Obviously i plugged in the right plug since it recognized it.
