pretty sure it will be similar, find the cruise control cable attached to your accelerator pedal and follow it thru the fireway to the engine bay. then remove the housing and your done.

you mean like a rubber thing?
none...
its just the cable with the thing with a clip like thing but its attached to the cable...
did not cut the cable...
i just twisted it and pulled it out...

 

oh alright, hmm if you can go to a junkyard you can pick up the rubber grommets off another civic. dont matter what year just look for a plug type piece in the firewall and thats all you need.

 

I wouldnt call them crappy, you should paint them tho. and drop your car a few inches then youll be pretty good to go I think. Ek coupes have alot of potential but if their done wrong they could look worse than a junked Ef lol

youre welcome, im a huge fan of del sols when they are done right and those big *** 17's, wing, and roof scoop just werent cuttin it for me. but yeah keep up the work

This is my old Del Sol S, It has a d15b7 with port and polished head. It was wrecked (hence the stupid z3 fenders) but I fixed it and traded it for my coupe


This was a pretty quick engine being that it was non vtec, dont mind the dirtyness and stupidly painted valve cover w/ that red thing for an oil cap lol.


My coupe before I got rid of it for my Si hatch, Mini me swapped d15b2 w/z6 head. I had painting plans for it but never got that far and i got an offer on it and traded it.



Pretty quick setup, i plan on doing the same thing to my hatch.

i want in!!! SOHC is the way to go! i just put the fresh *** z6 in there yesrday with a couple buddies... no more burning oil from the mini me that was in it when i traded for my ef with #9 in this groupe... haha he to;d me about this

 

yeah the coupe was fun, but i got bored of it soo quick. And the del sol, well thats another story. I traded my 89 Prelude Si for it. it was soo haggard and beaten it wasnt even funny. It had the worst primer job in the world, the bumper and the head lights didnt line up, not to mention it was the dirtiest car ive ever seen in my life. but i did my best with it, painted it, put rims on it and dropped it and it turned out like that. Thats probably the most work ive ever put into a car, and it was fun to drive lol. Thats why i love to see a clean del sol.

are u using a usdm exhaust manifold? it looks like a 4/1 POS that comes with the stock d15b2's and d16a6's. im in the same boat as you! i have a zc but didnt come with the down pipe so i cant use the 4/2/1 header :-(

 

If hes using the same header that was in the car when i had it then it should have been a 4-2-1 i beleive. When the down pipe was taken off i think it had 2 seperate exhaust paths.

 

haha no way... haha im gettin it painted in a couple months once summer comes around... then it should be fresh as hell... thos s2ks really set it off... there so f'in comfy! lol but im hella boostin it soon too cuz that z6 is freshly rebuilt... and then si trans and tune and imma be pretty much done with it for a little bit... cuz i already got the jdm headlights w/city lights and si tail light... its lookin fresh now... haha i havnt even washed it since i got it... its hella dirty! just been too cold

 

haha ya but its just what came on the car when i traded for it with prelude182 i dont really care im gettin all new exhaust anyways
