yeah me too...except i also managed to put some tiny cracks in my rear windsheild from my 15" jl....

guess thats what i get for bumping before the window was warm enough...oh well....i'll fix it tomorrow and remember to warm it up before i bump again haha

morning fellas! i'm bored. and wide the hell awake. think i might work on the car today.

 

Morning i havent slept lol im tired but im not sleepy.

 

stock **** on the sedan but i cut the shaft and rethreaded it with a die, thing sits incredibly low. gonna do the same with the coupe but im getting a moo-gyn **** from a buddy of mine for free

 

i actually like my stock ****...i dont have any plans to change it...

 

i like the stock ****, i just hate how low the shifter sits, i would like to have it up a little bit higher, im a tall guy and the shifter sits so low. I couldnt imagine cutting the shifter any lower, but i autocross the car so the car has to be more function for me i guess.

 

im prolly gonna part out the sedan this year and i'll be keeping the whole shifter setup, prolly swap it into the coupe and have both ***** to switch it up from time ta time. tall shifters screw me up i always miss shifts, drives me crazy. i cant imagine having a dogbox setup and the shifters like 18" long :eek:

 

yeah ive never owned a vehicle with short throws so im used to it haha

Well I was driving the 4dr yesterday and the damn axle broke I Deere that carisnothing but problems for me!!

 

i told you not to run chevy axles....

 

Thanks for the compliments on the shifter guys lol. I like it cuz it sits a few inches higher then stock which is good for me since im 6 foot 3 inches tall lol. I might be swapping it for a different color screw driver handle.

 

i have an axle that needs replaced on the coupe. easy fix. just gotta do it. lol. boot is torn, but there's still grease in it, and it doesn't click yet. its been on 2 200 mile round trips, including around town and whatnot, and still hasn't given me a problem.

 

i drove my teg with torn axle boots for 6k miles...they never clicked so i just post poned doing them as much as possible...

 

as long as there is grease in there, it should be fine.

replacement axles can be had for as low as $50 a side though, so its pretty affordable to just replace it and be on the safe side.

 

I just got my new oem honda shift **** accompanied by a skunk2 dual bend short shifter. ahh i love the setup, i wont run anything else.

youre damn lucky, mine clicks like no other and im just waiting for it to break.

 

well i went over to the mother in laws house tonight and on the way there the alternator in the four door took a dump on me, which sucks ***, but the wife just wants to buy a new alternator instead of taking the one off the coupe.

On the plus side i picked up a passenger mirror, all my inside door handles, glovebox, passenger front hub, pass taillight for the sedan, and a minty *** black trunk to throw on the coupe. all for 25 bucks and a tow lol
