sooooo im selling my jdm b18c block if anyone is interested and now i need to get my car inspected what a pain in the a** in pa i need axle my toe adjusters replaced and a few bushings replaced
You just need to find the right garage...My da passes emissions and inspection, and lets just say im missing a couple things
now i need a axle and front lower control are bushings to pass and i spoke to a pretty decent engine builder today and was told for what i want out of my engine performance wise that i should just get the head reworked and ditch the idea of mild stage 1 cams and intake mani just valve job and a port and polish and he said i would love the diff and unless i plan on changing my rpm range and redline not to mess with the cams anyone care to second that idea or is he right and if so then im just gonna do the pnp and valve job and slap my hytech on he said as far as the intake mani i cna use it but it will take away from mid and low end power in place of top end power so what u guys think leave stock cams get the head work and a mani or leave the manifold also

lol i get to drive my da into our bays at work open pit free synthetic oil change and filters lol i change it every 2500 cause i can.

emmisions for me is fine its all the other bs like axles and bushings that wont pass
Ask sean or somthing where to go...My da passed with no reverse lights no lincese plate lights..No cat, no pcv.....lol he just says make sure you fix that when you get home...Which I do but still, ive never had anyone worry about bushing or axles lmao..I dont think I ever seen anyone even look lol

and as far as cams i was only getting stage 1 cams he said its pointless to get cams thats just slightly more aggressive then stop waste of money he said and i also heard that from a few others in here i would go more agressive but then u have to get springs retainers and im not sure my bottom end will handle 8k rpms but then again thats was just his suggestion he said if i wanted to spend the money he would be more then happy to do it heck its more money for him to do the cams also just not for me to expect much more from the stage 1 cams
are you goin with the gsr or ls? a stock gsr lowerend can handle 8k easy lol and why wouldnt you upgrade your full valvetrain, it would be smarter to spend the money now and when you figure out what you want for a lowerend your head would be set, if your interested in a forged lower end im selling my eagle crank,scat rods, and wisco pistons all brand new in box im going a different route with my next build shoot me a pm il respond to it when i get home
nah i have the gsr block up for sell im going with the ls im keeping the head though i may decide to go b20 vtec later for right now its easier and cheaper to just play with my ls because i dont have the place or the tools to do a swap so i would have to pay someone to do it plus all the lil misc parts i need just to do the swap so i decided since i have to pay for labor just get a lil more pep out of my ls plus i know me i will spend 2-3 grand swapping and building and i drive like grandma lol so why waste the money im never gonna really run it at a track so a lil more pep out of my ls would be good enough for my daily use which i should of just did in the first place like i originally was gonna do i kinda wasted my money on the gsr motor
