nothing wrong with b16's. my old b16 held its own with pretty much bolt on parts and hondata, and surprised a few people at the drag strip. of course it has nothing on my poor man's itr setup, but it was still fun.

 

got my CDM DB2 cluster in. and finally put on my ASR subframe brace kit and the 24mm sway bar. woo!

Now on to the block and motor set up!

With my B16, I/H/E, Clutch and VAFC my DA went 15.0, LoL!
Thats of course cause I couldnt drive back then too!

 

You guys happen to know the differences between EF and DA mounts?

Going to recover my head liner today.

I want some more pep out of my B16 but I don't want to drop too much money on it because I want to swap the motor anyhow.

haha, i think he must have been away from the squad/h-t for too long when his computer was down. forgot how to spell! lol. plus with him bein gone for soo long, i gotta give him hell to make up for it! lol

 

with the b16, i ran a best of 14.75 @ 94 mph, i/h/e, skunk 2 stage 1 cams, bfg drag radials, full interior, tuned on hondata s100.

 

yea cams and tires will do that.

 

yeah it took me forever to figure out how to launch on those damn drag radials though... i wish had my slicks when the b16 was still in the car to see how much of a difference they would have made over the drag radials....

 

I've never taken my car to the track. I want to that this summer before I swap for a B20 block. Although I don't condone street racing, I do know that my car is faster than a cx hatch with a b16 and c/i/h/e from a 20 and a 40 roll. Gotta mess around sometimes...

 

Man I love the track im there almost every friday when the summer comes...I like to try different things to see how much faster my car can go...I have gone from 16's(first time at the track) lol 2 years ago to 11's...And hopfully 10's this year!!!

What should I do with my B16 guys? I want to spend $1000.

Thinking GS-R block, CTR pistons, Skunk2 cams (stage 1?) and valve train (I'm sponsored so), mild port job on my head, maybe a valve job, Nice intake, header and exhaust

 

wow that is intense man! i hope it isnt destracting while driving.

other than that, it looks like it came out really good.
