how about projectdc2's toda replica header? it looks just like the vibrant 4-2-1, but you dont have to notch the crossmember, hugs oil pan too.

never heard of a Hedman header, I would say get the "regular" header thats cheap for now until you start knowing what you're doing with a motor, otherwise its a waste of money, and I know you're not paying for a quality header like Toda, Mugen, etc...I suggest you work on getting better tires that can grip when you make those mad quick shifts y0!!!

b20 vs b18? besides hybrids like b20vtec and lsvtec. was reading that someone said their b18a blew and they were saying either get another 18a or get a 20
whats the big differences i know the b20 has more displacement? like performance wize.

i have this setup and it's not bouncy....i think you're not used to STIFF, unless you are constantly going over bumpy roads thats why you think its bouncy. On fully soft they don't bounce at all right? on stiff it rebounds faster....not bouncing, bouncing is being on stock shocks being dumped on some kind of spring or coilover....learn the difference </TD></TR></TABLE>

i do know the difference, and for some reason iono, i guess its just the roads where i live are really bouncy. i threw the front ones on today and proved my theory that extended top hats drop you lower. When i took off my top hats, my car was about a finger gap between fender and tire, when i put them back on, i didnt not adjust the coilovers at all, higher or lower, and its TUCKING 1" of tire now. sounds like it dropped at 1.5" which is how long my top hats are

P.S. my rims are going on tomorrow, and ill be taking picture for you guys

why Hedman? why not go with Megan or DC or something along those lines? are you trying to get quality or just something that will work?

I had a Megan header on my car, and it was great for the price but I upgraded to a Edlebrock/JG and from there I went to an SMSP.

Megan and DC headers are good for stock cars with few mods.
Tri-Y/Rage Headers seem to make power on everything and would be an upgrade to Megan or DC.
The serious headers such as SMSP, HyTech, RMF, etc are worth the money
Bisi, FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!

JG/Edelbrock is an awesome bang for the buck header, especially if you have the collector modified.

yeah and he said he was just after a bolt on header, and that he was not building his car, and yes the high dollar headers are well worth the price, they fit great and make the most power

What's up everyone. Been looking through the post here of what people have to say and looking at different DA's and styles made me want to join this group. So, here goes;

1. tell us about your da. how long have u had it? what was it like when u got it compared to now?
I just bought this DA about 2 months ago, with recent gas prices costing the amount of 5 virgins and 4 ounces of gold I used it as an excuse to buy another honda. I've always wanted a DA, had a 95 eg coupe with a built b18c5 but sold it because I got married and I have 4 kids. But now it feels good to own another honda, especially a DA.

2. what do you like about your DA? why you chose it as a car
I love everything about this car, I could have gotten any car I wanted with the budget I had and my wife asked me why did I want a 18 year old car? I was 2 inches from putting her in a sleeper hold, I had to explain to her that this car is one of the cleanest hondas out there, It takes a certain type of person to own a DA I think. It comes down to pride I guess, I love my car.

3. what are your future plans for your da?
I plan on taking these damn 17's off the car that came with it and slapping some Buddy Club SF challenge black with red trim on there. In Feb. I plan on swapping in a b20 but nothing to crazy, just want something fun to drive on the freeway to school. Have to do things slow and step by step with 4 kids and being in school fulltime. The things we would do to our cars if money was always available eh?

4. why do u want to be in the DA Squad?
People here seem to be helpful and respectful, and I am looking for cool people to chit chat with that shares the same love in a car that I simply call my girl. Every single one of us knows what its like to get in our car everyday and know your girl will be there for you looking good for you. I know that is corny but hey, I love my car.

Here are a couple of pics of my car

and this was the day I bought her

thanx for the vote Stevo, lol my wife drove my car when I got it to pick our oldest up and she came back excited talking about how fun the car is to drive. She got super jealous, she had a ek coupe and misses driving stick. Besides that, when I say I need to put 20 bucks in for the next 2 weeks for gas she really gets pissed lol our excursion at the peak of gas prices would cost 170 bucks to fill up every 4 days, maybe 6 if we were super lucky and didnt drive with the a/c on. good luck on the DB hunt, I was thinking about a DB when I was o my car hunt but if I got 4 doors my wife would want to toss more baby seats in there lol
