But where the bumper screws on behind the fender by the wheel on the driver side, is cracked and it "sags" on both sides... I forgot to take pics of the bumper off.... i'll take some when I get home after work... But I mean what do u recommend Herb?</TD></TR></TABLE>
If you are going to wetsdand the crashed bumper you need to get all of the scratches out with a lower grit sandpaper and a dual action sander if you have access to one. Start out with 80 grit paper and work your way up to 320. After that you have to primer and wetsand all the areas you sanded to remove the damage. Then you can paint. Or you could get a bumper with no damage and wetsand with a red scotchbrite pad and a scuffing agent.

Or shyt should I just convert it to a 92-93 </TD></TR></TABLE>
when i changed from a 93 front bumper to 91 i switched the bumper reinforcement too. i am not too sure if it is required, but i think it is to get the proper fitment.

that is some good info. i took my car to a body shop and they said that i needed a new bumper because you can't fix a plastic bumper..

You can fix bumpers but with the price of materials sometimes it's cheaper just to replace it. And less time consuming.

If it had stress cracks in the paint it would take them about 20 minutes to fix that and how ever long it takes for the primer to dry. $600 is really high.

yeah i will not be going to them again. but they said you can't fix that and even if you try the paint will look like crap where they tried to fix it... but you are giving my hope that i can fix it this winter
Thanks Herb; but ya theres a slight crack under the molding above the bumper light... idk maybe I should just buy a new 91 bumper...but I think the brackets that hold the bumper on the you screw on behind the fender by the wheel are broken. Think a Honda dealership would have it?
I don't know if anybody recalls or not, but a couple months ago, I was going to purchase a 90 LS for $300. Well, just yesterday, I paid a whopping $80 for a 1990 Integra LS 5-Spd with a B16 cable transmission, 168K on the car, and a cracked head. Here is a bad picture until I get it transported to my house and cleaned up and running. Also, is grey interior in the the bg-22m cars common?
thanks for the info, now if i can only find some time to do this..im also worried about my ecu..i was thinking of making a plexiglass box for it and relocate it above the carpet..would that work? i havent really gotten a chance to take apart the carpet and under the dash

just checking in. been busy with schoolwork this past week and this coming one too. no changes on the da but one of my buddies is learning to tune and were gonna finally tune out the butterflies that the ecu still thinks are there. and my b20 build came to a halt bc i think the rods are way out of round or something and the shop may have lied about honing them.
