1. tell us about your da. how long have u had it? what was it like when u got it compared to now?
I use to own an auto DA, i would sneak out my moms car when she was asleep. i learned how to drive in dat car and i grew up in that car. then i got my license, i droped it, gurl got me rims, went jdm but it was still an auto. all my friends had 5spds..so i met a guy who wanted an auto for his gf, so bfore we trade me and my bro swaped over the:
Original owner interior(cleaner)
shocks and coilovers,
Blades.
Jdm headlights and stanley bumper lights.
and now dat its da same color and drives da same, feels like i did a 5spd conversion. but better.

2. what do you like about your DA? why you chose it as a car
one of the cars ive known all my life, alot of trunk space. light weith. very reliable. First B series. First one of the first to go Vtec! its history right here!

3. what are your future plans for your da?
wait till this b18a dies on me. while im waiting, im saving up for a B18c5 and while everythings down its gonna go in for a full paint job. keepin it clean, reliable and fast

4. why do u want to be in the DA Squad?
cuz i got a DA lol

Woohoo member #316  LOL I didn’t think I was gonna make the cut
I didn’t do this the first time around, so here it is:

1. tell us about your da. how long have u had it? what was it like when u got it compared to now?
I've had it since late August 2005, which makes it roughly 2 1/2 years. When I got it it was high, didn't handle as well, had crap tyres and looked like this:

It was generally in pretty good condition and had done only 103,000km (about 64,000 miles), which is pretty rarely seen. It still had its original sheepskin seat covers made in May 91 (build date is May 91 too ). I travelled an hour and a half (each way, twice) to check it out and then pick it up and take it home. It was worth it because I haven't had any problems other than the usual things that might happen with a 16 year old car.

2. what do you like about your DA? why you chose it as a car
I like my DA, no wait, I REALLY REALLY REALLY like it, because it's got a beautiful shape, it looks nice front and rear, it has a very clean and simple interior, and enough power for driving to and from work, which is all I needed. I chose it because it was perfectly clean and unmolested, and had everything I wanted.

3. what are your future plans for your da?
I'd like to think I'll get to it one day soon, but since buying a house money's a bit tight and if I do anything to my car it's not going to be cheap. In a little while I'd like to do an engine swap and go to a B18C.

4. why do u want to be in the DA Squad?
I already am

Okay, after all that.............

On the dyno making 75kW at the wheels.... ohhh yeah!!!

No
I've managed to make a really sharp bend on a 3" downpipe. My first prototype is ok but needs a bit of work to look good. I'll get pix of it up soon.
I did notch the frame to clear the turbo. The LoveFab Mini-EQ mani drops the turbo really close to the frame.
My original/first setup also cleared just fine with 3"

That brings back memories. My old roommates and I used to have two refrigerators in the backyard that we kept full of beer for parties. Ice cold and enough to smash everyone in the neighborhood
