yeah i'm jealous don't rub it in! lol yeah i will! i heard the bronze windshield is really weak and cracks easy, anyone know about that? for now im just getting the door windows. and i need to find the rear window with wiper asap!

My EG9 still has the original Bronze Windshield in it from 1991. Don't know if that says anything about it's strength??
Has a couple of stone chips on it, but no cracks yet (touch wood)..... hopefully it stays that way as they no longer sell the windshield without the tint strip across the top.

for real! building is the best part! idk how people like building their car then selling it super quick unless for financial reasons and not that they got bored, i'll never sell my sedan

can't answer for everyone but i'm on the fence as well to part out just because i've been building mine since 98 - fixed the rust 3 times (doesn't help that i live in Canada too) i got the car almost to where i want now and i just blew 2 coilovers + my tranny is f*^ing up clutch and pressure plate as well - don't kn ow whether to fix or part out and buy a new car - hardest decision since this is my first car

i think thats the whole ferio family - if anyone knows if there is another please let me know - just got the Keiichi one today and the stp one last week - super excited then my actual ferio f-ed on me
if i'm not mistaken its my pressure plate that has a few broken or bent teeth that's not letting me shift properly or my clutch is really worn out - i really want to fix her and keep going but after 14 years is it time to retire her and get something new ? - time will tell
this is how she sits right now - front bumper is from a real eg9 came with fogs and sir lip (no time to paint yet)

Great stuff dude! I say keep it. But that's just me. Stress comes easy when things are broken. But when fixed, all the weight on your shoulders come off. Clutch and pressure plate should be easy to replace. No sweat!

Hows its going Joe? Just maintaining the ferio here, did a coolant flush the other day, replaced it with OEM Honda Genuine Coolant. Ran me $30 bucks but its way better than the stuff they sell at Kragen/ O'reilly.
Yeah i know, ive only heard of it happening on EF's. Maybe the EG glass is improved. And hell yeah, im an OEM ***** myself.
My ferio is my first car, I got it when i was 15 and im 18 now. I learned to drive in my car, my emotional attachment is beyond describable. And the amount of time and money ive spent is at times beyond belief, just because im a college student and i work part time. But i guess in the end, i love my car.
Keep it man, its your first car.
