its not all that. the itr and I were neck and neck first coupla gears.
but my launch control was set at 4300 so i was bouncing off the limiter easily on the street.
tires were hankook rs3s with 36psi so none of those helped. lol
he had his at 28psi. but we both murdered the ap2.
i have never drag raced at a strip before. do u get up to 4th gear in the 1/8th?
what final drive do u have?

oh i see. haha. probably coz of the different manifolds that suggest a different route/mounting of that hardware?
but i'll ask them anyway in case u might still need it. i dont think they're running any of the emissions stuff on their cars. i hope they didn't throw them away.

Your exactly right on the fitment though. I was trying to figure out what was going to do to get the evap working on this swap, the mani I'm using is obd2a and uses the older style with that hangs on the side and has a small vacuum line. The car is a 2000 and has the more elaborate setup with the tank sensors and all.
I noticed at some point that the itr manifold on my coupe didn't have a mounting spot for the solenoid but had a capped off port of the right size and so I went looking through the helms and the parts fiche where I found that. all I have to do is add a 3/8" port above the iac on my mani and everything should work.

Lemme introduce myself first, my name is Emilio im from Brazil and im 22 and i own a 93 eg6 ( VTi its how we call it here ). Thing is...my car is on P.U. bushings, gutted interior, loud as ****, etc etc. And now since im a full time law student AND i have a job, ive been wanting to get something more confy and ive got this on my mind for a few good months now.
Last week my dad got my car to go pick up my lil brother somewhere and ended up crashing it ( some luck...), now i really wanna sell it, altho i LOVE it...i just dont want it anymore ( im sure some of u ended up feeling like me sometimes). I wanna buy a 4door. Been watching this thread for 2 months now and im ready to make a move. Its classy, it looks good, its confy, its reliable and its cheap. THE THING ISSSSSS.....what about a b16 swap ? Anyone here done it b4? Does it feels good ? Do i 'lose' alot considering its an entire different engine in a entire different chassis?

B16s come stock in 4drs in other continents. Is that what you want to do? coz its a pretty straightforward swap and info on how to do it is plentiful

About the wheels, yeah thats probably the first thing im gonna do when i get my hands on the 4dr. Its probably gonna be silver ( new vogue metallic ).
About the swap, I was talking to some friends last night and they were like " oh man, dont do it" because of those things i said b4, but like u mentioned, they come stock on other countries....so whats the big deal right? Then again, swaps are not very commom here( b16 = 4,5k/ K20 = 10k + 5k to import mounts/ R$1,00 = U$1,90 ) . Ppl really dont 'care' about car here since its easy to get a brand new one, ppl see old cars ( pre 2000 ) a bad deal etc. i traded my 2004 Corolla for my EG6, what would be considered 'kinda' normal in the US,got people shocked down here. Well...
