[QUOTE=Sir Ash;45204269]

should I take the bumper off to fit the lip? I'm thinking maybe it'd be easier to fit the lip, but a lot more hassle to do it...

I never noticed it until you mentioned it. Philippines and Malaysia should have plenty in black. Better put that on the 2011 'to do' list.

As for sideskirts, i have a coupe side skirts, is there differences? I dont remember how my 4dr side skirts looked, but the coupe has a big gap on the rear.
The coupe/hatch sideskirts have longer flanges on the rear where the 4drs are shorter. The bracket holes are also different. Only about 3-4 brackets will line up if you use the coupe/hatch sideskirts.

Of course no need to ask us

Yes it will be easier. FYI when I bought a 99-00 type r style lip I couldn't get it to fit, it looked impossible because it was too short to fit the front bumper so I sold the lip. But yours maybe different. Mugen style ones fit better if you want to get another pair.

The motor casing is probably it's ground, but I have not looked at the diagrams yet. My biggest questions thus far is:
  • how is the performance of the window
  • do you also pick up a whining noise or is it just low-level static?

well, that'd be a total disapointment.... Mine came a bit eff'd up by shipment... so I decided to paint it. plus, a lot of time has passed since I have it. many months... So, no sending it back or selling it... the thing is, test fitting it, it seemed a bit short. I can make it work, but I have to force stretch it. A LOT. well, I'll find out about it this saturday if it doesn't rain. fingers crossed all the way 'til saturday.

Is Eibach next weekend? If I can scrounge the funds, I'll get my tires swapped and bring out the Civic. Chances will be I'll have to roll the Stang. Which is ok. Eibach needs a little tossing up.

Ok. I'm going to move away from that window motor subject for a bit. Is this a non-oem stereo. Did you ground it out to the chassis and not by tapping into the radio/security harness? Does your dome light work on AUTO setting right now?

its an aftermarket stereo', i recently removed the door panel, so maybe its just touching something, as for the dome light, i dont think it ever worked when it was on AUTO. lol

Check out the ground on the Stereo first. Make sure it's grounded to the CHASSIS and not tapped into the radio/security plug [green plug]. It must be a clean and solid connection. Other electrical components in the system can generate a lot of noise under a load, especially those that draw the most current (like an electric motor). It makes sense to start with that ground first, then pull the door panel.

Anywho. Been uploading one vid a day, and this past weekend attended an Autism Awareness Carschow in Salida,CA sposored by SS Auto Power. Decided to let this be the first upload since I saw some talk about Domani front end conversions

And can someone confirm if this is indeed Domani? or Acura 1.6EL. B/C I saw an H grille in the front, but an A in the back. Technically the're the same right? Just the badges.

And subcribe I got like 2 more sedans I'll post later.
It looks to be an Acura EL with Domani front conversion. Domani's have clear headlights, while EL has amber corners. Also, the EL has amber signals while Domanis have clear signals. Also, the EL did not come with sidemarkers on the fenders. The rear emblem can be easily changed. It is definitely not a Civic as I doubt the owner would go all the way to get EL seats and EL center console. Did you check the steering wheel to see if it had an 'A' or 'H' on it?

Hey just curious to those who are going to eibach but do not have a ticket to park within the gates.
If your taking your sedan anyways there usually is parking in the lot next to eibach. That's where I parked last time. Do anyone want to meet to park together out there?
So I'm not all by myself lol. Just a thought

96-98's have big mouths and look like fishes, 99-00 look a little bit madder with cheek dimples.

I never really paid attention to that 'til now. what a dumb ***... lol
98's have bigger "eyes", 99's have smaller but more stylized "eyes".. now, if and when I'm buying stuff for the car, I'll have to buy it for 98 if it's something for the rear and for 99's if it's for the front. I already have those pics, but never looked at'em with "seeing" vision. lol. thanks for those!
