Re: ** The offical 96-00 civic 4dr thread ** PART 2
Hi guys!
Senor Blas, I have a question that needs answering. I figured you deal w/ eletrical components and would be my best resource for resources. I have a VAFC2 I wish to wire in my vehicle. The OEM connectors that came w/ the VAFC was used in the OP's car, but I like that style because it uses soft end connectors or tubing VS. the hard radio shack crap.
would you happen to know what I speak of, and where I could get some male & female x6 pcs ? ( off to browse for sample photos JIC )
like these here @ the end of the wiring

I wired one upawhile back with some gm style weatherpacks... it was completely reversible, I just made it so you could pull the vafc harness out and plug the ecu harness back into itself. The connectors were a little bulkier than i would have liked, but the guy is not really mechanically inclined and I managed to make it just about idiot proof.

What's up?
I'm new to the thread, I'm a fo'door addict too, from Portugal- talk about global addiction with the civic sedan!
I have a 99 1.5 sedan which I'm working on at the moment, when I have pics I'll post them- nothing really too extreme and unfortunately (Portugal's on a major financial crisis right now) nothing I fitted is oem or any of the brands you normally use- mugen or spoon. The thing is, I didn't know how to post this and as i know 'Flow is one of the guys around that knows his stuff, I figured I post a reply to one of your posts and see if you know the answer for me. I want to fit a high flow cat to my car which is running straight pipe now- I don't like the tone of the exhaust and afterall it only gives you some 3 hp like this. Thing is no brand does a 1.5 high flow cat- do you think I can fit the 1.6 in with no trouble? I'm talking operation troubles, not fitting... Sorry for the way I did this, even though I follow this thread for some time (I keep all you guys pics in my pc for inspiration ;]), it's the first time I post something. Hope someone can help.
and... Oh yeah, Portflow your sedan really rocks!!!! it's awesome!!!!
peace

Thanks Ace! The cat will still work. Are you wanting to use a cat to muffle the sound of the exhaust?
