Re: (Floyds_Customs)
if you intend to go really low, i reccomend staying away from adjustable ball joints. the adjustable balljoint adds height to the distance between the tips of the front control arm. so i guess theoretically the two planes which are generally parallel become obtuse and im also assuming the distance traveled by each arm changes slightly. but anyway, tall adjustable balljoint = holes in your strut tower/s. ive had spc adjustable ball joints and the joints also dont like aggressive driving after about 2 years they accumulate play.

gsrdEK, what kind of tires do u have on there? 205s?
from what i can see the rims are flush against the fenders. that means u can get thinner tires and stretch them so it wont rub dat much (if dats ur thing). rolling ur fenders wont do a thing judging by the pic. Flaring though could make it work.
thinner wheels (195/45) or skinnier + fender rolling +some flaring = tuff look

yup i had some new 205/50s laying around.. so i slapped them on there...
the rear was scraping, but now that the rear is rolled it doesnt scrap any more, but im still rolling like a 4x4..i was thinking about them fender flares that one of them white sedans had on here, but dont know where to find them or if it is just for looks rather than function...

15x7 with +17 offset with some 205/50 falken ziex 912.....when i first got the tires mounted, they did seem kinda chunky... i had falken ziex 512's before and they werent so chunky... to brand new tires....

Re: (gsrdEK)
the fender flares are harder to do. the REAL application is u have to cut the fender in order to properly use/install the fender flares. i should know coz we did this to my bros evo and its the only way to do this mod.
i was talking about flaring the fender where u actually have to pull it out some more for clearance when u wanna go lower.

^ hmm, so what is rolling, and flaring? is flaring physically displacing the inside portion of the fender further out, via i guess stretching or adjusting the whole fender. than rolling is i suppose using a device to more or less crimp or fold the inside lip of the fender away from the tire? tia homeboy

it seems like that color doesnt match anything else, and was just wondering what your permanent solution would be if thats a temporary, and additionally just curious what else you plan to do to her </TD></TR></TABLE>
Eh, it's a valve cover. They don't need to match .... not that purple and red don't match.
Plans involve a lot of anodized purple .....

T1R Lugs / Locks
Willwood Dynalite 2-Piston
Willwood Cross-Drilled 11" (top hats)
F7 LCA's
SRR Rear Swaybar
SRR Rear Tie Bar
All this color:

Resources permitting. I'm going to build a small fortress next to the couch of parts to hide in. Then, when I have them all, a trip to the powdercoater.

ive bee really excited lately anticipating the rebirth of my camaro v4.0. currenty debating on whether to invest in a roller cam. also trying to clear the cobwebs and reinforce factual knowledge of nitrous setups, and questioning if i will even be able to run the initially decided shot amount compression permitting. either way good stuff!

more random idea blurbs; interesting how critical things like lobe seperation angle + degree, intake vs exhaust flow, and cchamber design have a far superior importance factor to overall engine performance compared to cubic inch displacement or even compression ratios to some degree. volumetric efficiency is what defines a engines potential... uhhh hmm still thinking about this one, more later
