You need to make sure that whatever you buy is designed for a Civic SI B16A or Integra Type R B18C5.

Oh, and SonicSl33per, I got your PM just been busy and I'm still thinking about it .

If you come up on a sweet deal for a charger, you can always trade your head. Whatever is most cost effective for you .

I believe it will effect how much psi you will have since most people run b20 pulleys on B16s and B18s to raise it. Would probably need to check in the forced induction section to see what pulley would best fit your needs for what power your looking to make.

ops. shouldve clarified. vortech and jackson racing are different kits altogether. what compression is your motor at?

sounds like you are going with jackson. make sure the kit is complete and working properly. inspect the charger before putting it on. crank the charger unit by hand or use a drill to see if there is any noise or wobble amongst the blades. double check the nose pulley as well.

You can probably do it with around 800$. pretty much all the parts would be ebay "brand" parts, turbo, IC, wastegave, BOV piping etc etc.

I priced everything with "top end" parts. It was about 3600$ before tune.
Eagle rods
Arias 9.1com pistons
Crower stage 2 turbo cam
Crower SS valves, springs and Ti retainers
Unorthodox cam gear, or whatever you choose *they are all close to same $*
Precision t3/t04e turbo *57 trim I think*
HKS SSQV BOV
Tail 44mm wastegate
Go-autoworks medium sized IC
then custom fabbed manifold, duptube, downpipe, and IC piping.

I would run like 12-15psi or so.

Anyway GMG sunday is detail + going lower hah!

I'm doing a fully built D-series turbo build. I got most of my parts from this website. I'm still in the process of gathering things, but I set myself to a 2.5k limit give or take. Should be able to do it as I'm pretty much building it myself.

Resonably priced, good parts, stand up guys..........

Hey 4dr there's a b20 motor sitting in a junk yard here, I can check how much they'd want for the crank pully. But that's a good place for you to look though

Actually vtec contradicts a turbo system, they are not meant to work together.
if you run both they are woking against each other.
So no point really

yea true. How exactly does it do that? Because of the cam lift being different at engagement? or...

and anyone know how long stock cat converters are?
