theres a sedan thats around my area with the oem clear ones (if those exist, dont know much about the 96-98 fogs) but it does make a huge difference to the front end.

and yes, you need to take some pics

Unless it never rains(or you have a good rain suit) I would atleast have a beater car. Cold is easy to deal with but YES you should get a CBR. I had a 2001 F4i and I LOVED it I miss it now but i sold it to help pay for the house i bought so it was cool. I would love to get anohter one though. They are SOOOOOOOOO much fun!!!!

Oh ok my apologies , I read it wrong i guess, I have had several close calls myself with cars, animals, or run ins with the cops...of corse speed was the issue with all of them

that was the majority of my close calls, the rest had to deal with only using one wheel....either one worked for me

i dont think id live very long. with a flick of the wrist, the cbr EASILY hits 60mph. makes my stomach feel funny.

Lol yeah thats very true, being able to cruise on the interstate at 70 and jerk your wrist, look down at the speedo and be going 120+ in a matter of seconds was AWESOME!
I had never riden a motorcycle period when i bought mine and told myself i would take it easy untill i learned it good...the second time i ever rode i went 121 and only went faster the more i rode

Haha nice, i tried to stay away from one wheeling it though...the few times I did I racked myself coming back down to hard
